Mick McCarthy should be going ballistic against his team. It's been all Lincoln and they deserve to be ahead. Ipswich can't get out, Ipswich can't get forward.

  2. 'Lincoln have bossed it'published at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2017

    Trevor Sinclair

They've bossed it. They've completely shown why they got a draw at Portman Road. Everyone is making good decisions on the Lincoln side. They were very close to getting the opening goal.

    AFC Wimbledon 1-0 Sutton

Sutton race out of the blocks quicker than Usain Bolt! Barely 10.89 seconds are on the clock before the non-league visitors carve open the Wimbledon defence. Keeper James Shea smothers Roarie Deacon's shot before Maxime Biamou bundles wide from about six yards. Got to hit the target!

    Burnley 1-0 Sunderland

Sunderland have finally crafted something in this game - Seb Larsson plays a neat one-two with Javier Manquillo and tries to lob Burnley keeper Nick Pope from 25 yards out.

Pope was caught short but Larsson's effort floats narrowly over the bar.

I expect Mick McCarthy to go in at half-time and read the Riot Act to his players. Ipswich have been dreadful.

Ipswich have not laid a glove on Lincoln so far. They're just hanging on. I'm sure Mick McCarthy will want a lot more.

The difference between the two sides is one knows exactly how they want to play and the other one doesn't. For Lincoln, they know exactly how they want to play. They get it in wide areas, get the ball into the box and get it into Rhead as much as possible and it obviously suits them well.

  20. 'Lincoln not being pressured'published at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2017

    Lincoln City 0-0 Ipswich

    Chris Sutton
Ex-Chelsea striker at Lincoln v Ipswich

Ipswich have no rhythm to their play whatsoever, they're just sending long hopeful balls up the pitch and Lincoln are coping with ease.
