    Aston Villa 0-0 Bristol City

    Brendon Mitchell
    BBC Sport at Villa Park

As you'd expect, plenty of this match has been about Jonathan Kodjia, the Ivory Coast striker who left Bristol City to join Aston Villa last August. His every touch has been greeted by a chorus of boos from the 2,800 traveling supporters - but he had an opportunity to silence his former fans when Gary Gardner was brought down in the penalty area and he stepped up to take the spot kick a few moments ago. His effort, however, was as horrible as the West Midlands weather - hard, straight and off the top of the crossbar. "£15 million and we're having a laugh" is the cry from the Bristol City end now.
