Back under way at Molineux. Wolves couldn't manage a shot on target in the first half and they gifted Birmingham their first goal.

Birmingham's two shots on target quite literally separate the sides at Molineux so far.

The EFL action continues tomorrow, with a full day of fixtures including two huge games in the race to reach the Premier League.

Meanwhile, first plays third in League One from 15:00 GMT as Bolton travel to face leaders Sheffield United.

  4. Wolves booed offpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2017

    HT: Wolves 0-2 Birmingham

Well that could barely have gone better for Birmingham and their under-pressure boss Gianfranco Zola.

They were gifted the opening goal by Carl Ikeme's mistake and David Davis made the most of seeing the ball break straight to him to make it 2-0.

Wolves were booed off at the break. They have created precious little, with their limited threat coming from a couple of set-pieces.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2017

    Wolves 0-2 Birmingham City

Some late Wolves pressure comes to nothing. Birmingham have a two-goal half-time advantage.

Thumbs up for Blackburn so far from new boss Tony Mowbray. They lead 1-0 at the break.

  7. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Wolves 0-2 Birmingham City

Matt Doherty smashes a shot towards goal from 20 yards out. It was flying but is blocked by Birmingham's Ryan Shotton.

The strike looked fairly central though and would have been pretty close to Blues keeper Tomasz Kuszczak.

We have two minutes of stoppage time.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 43 mins

    Wolves 0-2 Birmingham City

The cautions are clocking up. Josh Dacres-Cogley joins Birmingham team-mate Ryan Shotton in the book for a late tackle on winger Andreas Weimann.

  9. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Wolves 0-2 Birmingham City

The free-kick leads to nowt. Less than four minutes of normal time remaining in the half.

It's probably the best 45 minutes of Gianfranco Zola's Birmingham reign.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 40 mins

    Wolves 0-2 Birmingham City

Birmingham defender Ryan Shotton goes into the book. No complaints with that one. He clatters into Jon Dadi Bödvarsson at full tilt.

    That's got to hurt.

  11. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2017

    Burton 0-1 Blackburn

Blackburn remain on top at Burton and could be further ahead but Craig Conway shoots over from inside the area.

  12. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Wolves 0-2 Birmingham City

Wolves have a free-kick on the left flank, just outside the box after Matt Doherty is upended.

Jon Dadi Bödvarsson is allowed too much space in the box but cannot keep his header down.

Cheer up Gianfranco. This is all going rather well for the Birmingham boss at the moment.

    David Davis

That's a brilliant finish from former Wolves man David Davis, who makes the most of seeing a ball deflected invitingly into his path.

He barely had to break stride as he calmly sidefooted it home at a decent pace. A lovely finish and it's all to do for Wolves now.

  15. goal

GOAL Burton 0-1 Blackburnpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2017

    Luke Murphy OG

Tony Mowbray's Blackburn have the lead in his first game in charge!

Danny Graham diverted Charlie Mulgew's right-wing corner goalwards but it went in off Burton's Luke Murphy.

A dream start for the new Rovers boss against their fellow strugglers!

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 30 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Birmingham City

Wolves are straight on the attack after the goal, winning a couple of corners, the second of which leads to a bit of  "to do" in the penalty box when Jon Dadi Bödvarsson steams into veteran Blues defender Paul Robinson.

    The striker is booked.

  17. goal

GOAL Wolves 0-1 Birminghampublished at 26 mins

    Maikel Kieftenbeld

A complete nightmare for Carl Ikeme, who simply drops Craig Gardner's cross from the right and Maikel Kieftenbeld could barely miss from a couple of yards out.

A shocker for the Wolves keeper.

  18. CLOSE!published at 25 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Birmingham City

So so nearly the opening goal for Wolves

Richard Stearman leaps highest at the far post from a left-wing corner and his header drifts just wide of the far post, evading David Edwards who was racing in.

  19. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Birmingham City

Birmingham manage a shot on target now. Che Adams does well on the left and his cross finds Emilio Nsue, but the wing-back's shot is deflected wide and the corner is cleared.

    Burton 0-0 Blackburn

    Jason LoweImage source, Rex

There has been fairly little goalmouth action to tell you about in Burton.

Jason Lowe's passing has caused the home side a few problems and Blackburrn have certainly made the better start.

Burton's Jon McLaughlin has saved well from from a deflected Liam Feeney effort.
