    Juventus 1-0 Inter Milan

Mario Mandzukic is a big lump, a skillful big lump, but he is felled by a challenge with Roberto Gagliardini, who catches him with an elbow.

The referee says it was not intentional and Mandzukic gets back to his feet. No action taken against Gagliardini.

Moments before that challenge, Mandzukic had got booked. It remains feisty, as you would expect it to be.

So what are the chances of seeing Juan Cuadrado in the Premier League again? Well, probably not too good considering he has had not played in England since 16 August 2015.

But you never know. More strikes like that first half goal from the Colombian may lead to Antonio Conte having some chats with the Chelsea board.

    Juventus 1-0 Inter Milan

A thrilling first half got the end it deserved with Juan Cuadrado's strike giving Juventus the lead.

Inter will regret a number of missed chances and will be unhappy that a couple of good penalty shouts were turned down by referee Nicola Rizzoli.

    Juan Cuadrado

What a strike. Beautiful. Inter partially clear a corner and it falls to Juan Cuadrado. Twenty-five yards out, he produces a wonderful strike as the ball flies past Samir Handanovic.

Cuadrado is on loan from Chelsea, and the Blues boss Antonio Conte is said to be at Juventus Stadium. Not a bad way to impress someone. Juventus lead.

The corner had been awarded after Handanovic had tipped Miralem Pjanic's free-kick on to the crossbar and then over the top.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 43 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Inter's Gary Medel talks himself into a booking. We may well not end 11 v 11. Gagliardini had chopped down Mario Mandzukic. Danger for Inter. Free-kick for Juventus on the corner of the penalty area.

  9. CLOSE!published at 41 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

End-to-end at Juventus Stadium. The fans are getting their money's worth tonight.

At one end, Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic sees a diving header go just wide, before an Inter Milan counter-attack ends with Mauro Icardi flicking narrowly wide from Ivan Perisic's low cross from the left wing.

    Great stuff.

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

More trouble for Juventus. Ivan Perisic's close-range header proves that Gianluigi Buffon still has fantastic reflexes, even at the age of 39, as he manages to paw away the ball.

Inter then have another good shout for a penalty as Leonardo Bonucci slides in at Mauro Icardi, and does not get the ball. Again Inter are denied.

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Some angry stares being exchanged in the Juventus defence as Giorgio Chiellini's clearance bounces off Stefan Lichtsteiner for an Inter corner.

But the visitors make a right mess of it. They go for a short one, and then are instantly ruled offside when the taker, Joao Mario, gets it back.

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Earlier on we were told that Juventus' Gonzalo Higuain was one of the best five strikers in the world. Not on that finish.

A low ball is played into him, and Higuain moves away from a marker but scuffs his left-footed shot, with it rolling well wide.

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Juventus' Juan Cuadrado, the former Chelsea man, goes for a Hollywood finish. From 30 yards out, with better options in the middle, he goes for goal and gets it horribly wrong, with the ball sailing harmlessly over the top.

At the other end Roberto Gagliardini heads at goal, but it lacks power and is straight at Gianluigi Buffon.

Another booking. It won't be the last. Miralem Pjanic's name is taken after fouling Inter's Gary Medel.

Twenty-five hugely entertaining minutes gone, we remain goalless.

  16. CLOSE!published at 23 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Juventus are living dangerously. Only minutes ago, Inter's Roberto Gagliardini just shot over, and now Joao Mario, given time to shoot from the edge of the penalty area, fires inches wide.

Inter Milan want a penalty after some holding of shirts in the area as the corner comes across, but they don't get it and the ball falls to Roberto Gagliardini, who, on the turn, shoots just over the top.

Another corner to Inter Milan, after Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci makes a hash of a clearance, slicing the ball behind.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORK - Paulo Dybalapublished at 19:59 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2017

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Juventus' Paulo Dybala nearly scored earlier on, and he has now rattled the Inter Milan crossbar.

A short pass is played from Miralem Pjanic to Dybala, on the edge of the penalty area, and he curls a lovely, dipping effort that bamboozles goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.

But the ball bounces off the top of the bar. So, so close. Great technique.

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

A half-chance for the visitors but a rare poor pass from Ivan Perisic sees the opportunity vanish.

Inter had progressed to the edge of the Juventus penalty area and Marcelo Brozovic wanted a square pass so he could run on and strike it, but Perisic's pass is behind his Croatia team-mate.
