  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 7 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

But it is a poor set piece from Inter, with the corner headed clear at the near post.

We expected it to be a bit feisty and it only takes seven minutes before the first yellow card of the evening

It comes for Inter's Antonio Candreva after an obvious trip on Paulo Dybala. Candreva needs to watch his step from now on.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 2 mins

    Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan

Almost a great start for Juventus. Juan Cuadrado and Stefan Lichtsteiner link up on the right wing, the cross is headed down and Paulo Dybala produces a spectacular scissor kick from the edge of the penalty area.

But Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic leaps to his left to parry the well-struck shot.

And we are ready. Nicola Rizzoli is the man in the middle. He should be able to cope though. He was in charge for the 2014 World Cup final.

  7. AC continue to strugglepublished at 19:43 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2017

    AC Milan 0-1 Sampdoria

Things are going well for Inter, but not so good for rivals AC Milan, who suffered their fourth successive defeat in all competitions earlier today as they lost 1-0 at home to Sampdoria.

Luis Muriel scored the only goal with a penalty, after Gabriel Paletta fouled Fabio Quagliarella. Gerard Deulofeu, on loan from Everton, hit the post in the second half for Milan and substitute Gianluca Lapadula had a shot saved by Emiliano Viviano.

Milan ended the match with 10 men after Argentine midfielder Jose Sosa was shown two yellow cards late on.

"Is it a crisis? Only in terms of results, but not the way we're playing," said boss Vincenzo Montella. "We must continue to believe in ourselves and our principles of football. I think this is just a bad patch and better times will come."

  8. Parolo the goalscorerpublished at 19:42 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2017

    Pescara 2-6 Lazio

Some things in football you just cannot predict.

Marco Parolo has had a great career, playing for Italy 29 times, but you wouldn't exactly call him a goalscorer. He had one to his name all season before his game today.

But he then grabbed four - including three headers - as Lazio recorded their best win of the season by thrashing Pescara 6-2 in Serie A.

Keita Balde Diao and Ciro Immobile also scored for Lazio, with Ahmad Benali and Gaston Brugman getting Pescara's goals.

The hosts also missed a penalty as Gianluca Caprari's spot-kick was saved by Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti.

  9. How they standpublished at 19:42 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2017

Juventus v Inter Milan (19:45 GMT)

This is how it stands in Serie A after the games earlier today. Juventus are in pole position as they chase a sixth successive title, while Inter Milan were bumped down to fifth after Marco Parolo turned into Lionel Messi, for one game at least, to inspire Lazio to a 6-2 away win over Pescara.

  11. No Real tonightpublished at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2017

    Celta Vigo P-P Real Madrid

    Spanish La Liga

We were expecting to be focusing on some La Liga action tonight, but Spanish storms have put an end to that.

Real Madrid's La Liga game at Celta Vigo, scheduled for tonight, was postponed yesterday after storms damaged the hosts' ground.

The Estadio Municipal de Balaidos was declared unsafe by Vigo's city council, its owner, on Saturday.

Abel Caballero, the city's mayor, had earlier told Spanish media it would be impossible for the game to go ahead as planned. No new date has yet been set.

Real are top of La Liga, one point ahead of second-placed Barcelona with two matches in hand.

Who are the best five strikers in the world?

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri made some bold statements in a news conference before this game.

He said: "Icardi and Higuain are not only the best two strikers in Italy, they are the best strikers in the world - definitely in the top five."

And we want your thoughts on that. Who would make your best five strikers in world football? Do Icardi and / or Higuain make the shortlist? Why / Why not?

So, as mentioned we have some in-form strikers to watch out for. Juventus' Gonzalo Higuain and Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi could well end the day as the top goalscorer in this season's Serie A.

Juventus versus Inter Milan. Throw in some of Europe's most in-form strikers as well and this is a match to get excited about.

It should be a good one.
