Oxford are chasing their tails and Middlesbrough are playing really good football. Oxford haven't had enough of the ball to stamp their authority.

It was a very good finish. Middlesbrough are good for their lead.

Boro are looking to out this game to bed before the break. Simon Eastwood pulls out a big save to push Stewart Downing's low, goal-bound shot behind.

  3. CLOSE!published at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Manchester City

Well played again Huddersfield, who are more than holding their own. Collin Quaner, built like a quicker John Carew, rolls away from a defender on the right wing and leaves them in his wake before teeing up Rajiv van La Parra. His shot is low and true, and Claudio Bravo saves well, if not too cleanly on the first attempt.

It's not often Pep Guardiola is the least demonstrative manager in the technical area but he is being outdone by David Wagner today.

The Huddersfield boss is in a tracksuit, in contrast to Guardiola's more formal attire, and he is challenging referee Anthony Taylor repeatedly.

There have been a few gestures from Guardiola but largely he is content to stand - or sit - and watch.

From potentially 1-1 to an emphatic 2-0! Boro punish Oxford for some shoddy defending as Adama Traore's volleyed cross is not cleared, allowing Rudy Gestede to show superb agility for a big fella, lashing the ball in with a bicycle kick. Long way back for the League One side now.

  6. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2017

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Oxford

Oxford have the ball in the net. But almost as soon as it crosses the line, the referee blows to rule it out. Chris Maguire's cross (shot?) from way outside the box flies through the area and into the far corner. However, Kane Hemmings is adjudged to have shoved his marker (who would have cleared) in the back.

It's 0-0, but a very watchable 0-0. Nolito hits a deflected volley just wide from 18 yards as both sides continue to look a threat.

Busy minute for Fabian Delph, first flicking a shot on goal which is easily held and then clattering Collin Quaner with a nasty looking challenge in midfield. Nothing doing, and Quaner didn't make anything of it.

    Millwall 0-0 Leicester

Have Millwall weathered the storm? Leicester were all over them early on but now the home side are looking to be more proactive. They see a shot blocked behind but can't make anything of the corner as Jake Cooper prods a volley tamely into the crowd behind the goal.

Maguire is running so fast back into his box and Downing has cut across him, trying to get the ball onto his right foot, and Maguire just takes him down.

  11. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Manchester City

Huddersfield are having a fine spell and they have the ball in the net! But it's correctly ruled out. City didn't deal with a corner and Phillip Billing slams in from a tight angle, but there were at least a couple of players offside. City also appealing for offside.

    Whatever - it didn't count.

As clear a spot-kick as you will see. Stewart Downing is about to pull the trigger to end a good Boro move but is taken out by a shocking lunge from Chris Maguire.

No matter what happens here today, it is not going to be the story.

It probably won't be that long before Lincoln's victorious players are heading past this stadium on the M62 heading back from Burnley.

Not that Huddersfield are without a chance of victory. Claudio Bravo has made a couple of saves and the hosts have had a penalty appeal turned down.

Pep Guardiola is not anxious yet, but he has been doing plenty of pointing.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Manchester City

Manchester City go route one as Claudio Bravo drop-kicks the ball 65 yards downfield and into the path of Sergio Aguero, Huddersfield keeper Joel Coleman gets in a positional mess and is caught in no-man's land. Aguero takes a touch, facing away from goal, and tries to lift it over him but can only shoot over. Chance.

Aleksandar Kolarov then goes into the book for a trip.

Oxford digging in, in numbers. Boro come forward again and Grant Leadbitter is set up on the edge of the box, but with a host of yellow-shirted men in front of him he can't find a way through to test Simon Eastwood.

Maybe Man City are a little lucky there.

Otamendi dives in and on one angle it clearly looks like he gets a touch on the ball and from another angle it seems he is nowhere near it.

Huddersfield striker Collin Quaner rolls Nicolas Otamendi and gets across the defender before going down - the referee gives handball against him for touching the ball on the floor. It's a good call, Otamendi got a touch to the ball.
