    Huddersfield 0-0 Manchester City

Neither side has conceded a goal in the FA Cup so far this season but like Mayweather-Hatton, someone's 0 has got to go.

Considering both teams have made changes it's a very strong set of sides out there. Huddersfield win a corner in the first minute. Great atmosphere on a lovely looking afternoon.

Lincoln goalscorer Sean Raggett: “An unbelievable feeling, I’m a little bit lost for words. It shows this group of players is special. What a win.

“I knew it was in but the lino didn’t look like he was going to give it for a minute.”

    Burnley

Burnley boss Sean Dyche speaking to BBC Sport: "I’m only gutted in the sense that could happen, I was on the other side of it as a player [at Chesterfield], you don’t want to be part of it for the wrong reasons.

"They used everything they needed to use. They played our pitch well, played resolutely with their back four not going anywhere and they got the ball forward.

"You have to work, be diligent and believe you will get another chance – I think they only had one chance, credit to them.

"My team were nowhere near the level they can show."

Oxford will go into this game quietly confident.

They are on a crest of a wave and they will want to go to Middlesbrough and play football.

  8. 'Are Leicester underdogs against Millwall?'published at 14:57 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2017

    Millwall v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

    Guy Mowbray

The last time Millwall faced the previous season's Premier League champions was in the 2004 FA Cup final.

By then, Manchester United had already lost their crown (to Arsenal's 'Invincibles') but they were never in any danger of losing to the Lions.

Leicester could be - and manager Claudio Ranieri knows it to the extent of labelling his side 'underdogs, external' in the tie.

Yes, really. The boss of the champions of England has hinted that they're second favourites against a team from the third tier - albeit one in flying form with a fireproof defence.

Clever reverse psychology to get his much-changed team up for the test, or just muddled thinking that sums up the Foxes' current mess?

Last summer, I had the misfortune to be at a Pep Guardiola news conference in Beijing that was held in a room far too small for the number of people who wanted to attend it.

Believe me, that room was bigger than this, which awaits Guardiola if he speaks to the written media after today's game.

  10. 'Pep will have one eye on the Champions League'published at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2017

Huddersfield v Manchester City (15:00 GMT)

    Steve Bower
    Match of the Day commentator

Plenty has changed at both clubs since their last meeting 17 years ago, and both come into this cup tie on the back of encouraging recent form.

The FA Cup offers Pep Guardiola one of the routes to mark his first season in England with silverware, and his team have been impressive away from home in the competition so far.

Whilst he will have one eye on the Champions League clash with Monaco on the horizon, he won't want any upset headlines being written in West Yorkshire.

An upset is exactly Huddersfield's intention, as they get to test themselves against top Premier League opposition.

David Wagner has rekindled belief and raised expectation in his 16 months in charge, external - a place in the last eight of the FA Cup would certainly raise some more eyebrows.

This not going to be a formality.

I am expecting a Man City win because of the quality they have but to go away to Huddersfield, it is not going to be easy.

Huddersfield know how not to lose at home.

  15. 'You have to believe and dream big'published at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2017

    Burnley 0-1 Lincoln

Lincoln City manager Danny Cowley told BT Sport: "We said it was a one in a 100 chance and thankfully we got that opportunity. The last eight of the FA Cup sounds pretty good. We work hard on our corners and our free-kicks and we are mightily proud of the players."

Assistant manager Nicky Cowley added: "It is a fantastic day, just brilliant for the supporters, the players and their families. You have to believe and dream big. We had fantastic results against Oldham, Ipswich and Brighton but coming to a Premier League ground was a new challenge and it is unbelievable.

"From the view we had, it was difficult to see if it was over the line and you are just willing the referee to point to the centre circle and it was a great moment when it happened. We are a humble, down-to-earth group."

"We've got a good squad here and we believe we can beat anyone. We continue to beat teams.

"It is something you dream of as a kid. We went toe-to-toe with a Premier League team. We are confident if we set up as we have today we can beat anyone."

  20. It won't be that bad, will it?published at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2017

    Huddersfield v Man City (15:00GMT)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at John Smith's Stadium

Seven changes for Huddersfield, eight for Manchester City in the FA Cup this afternoon.

But the respective strengths of the two squads was summed up by one wag in the press room when the teams came through.

"I was there for the 10-1 you know."

In 1997, Huddersfield went to Maine Road in an (old) Division Two game and suffered the worst league defeat in their entire history.

A record football crowd for the John Smith's Stadium will surely not see anything like that today.
