Chelsea breathe a sigh of relief again.

The cross from Doherty was inches too high.

Wolves are giving as good as they get now. Matt Doherty gets in down the left and dinks over a cross from the touchline which is just a few inches too high for Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.

Brayo: Fabregas is bossing this game. With his precise through balls it's only a matter of time before Wolves fall behind

Agubata Odinaka: Eden Hazard has been a passenger so far. He needs to get on the ball a lot more. Fabregas has been more like Fabrepass though

Because of the way Chelsea play - with Costa, Hazard and Willian up front and the wing-backs out wide - the Wolves back four has to be really focused and stay narrow.

Weimann and Costa have also got to track the two wing-backs.

Andreas Weimann follows George Saville into the book for a sliding foul that sends Willian flying.

Helder Costa floats a free-kick to the back post and just inches away from contact with the boot of the sliding Danny Batth. Flag was up, though. Wouldn't have counted anyway.

    Chelsea corner.

The big fellas - Zouma and Terry are up - but Carl Ikeme is fouled by Nathan Ake following Fabregas' delivery and Wolves have some respite.

Antonio Conte is looking a little concerned with way his team are playing.

They are making some sloppy errors at the back.

There was an uncharacteristic one there from John Terry but he hasn't played a lot of football.

Helder Costa. He's good. So he should be for £13m. He cuts inside from the right and fires a low shot but Asmir Begovic is firmly behind it.

The long, precise passes of Cesc Fabregas are causing Wolves all sorts of problems. Another floated delivery allows Victor Moses to break away down the right but his cross is cut out.

Again, Wolves' defence has to turn on its heels and chase back to see off danger from a ball in behind. Diego Costa briefly looks like he may be away but is eventually muscled out of possession.

Costa is not winning any friends, though (when does he ever?). He pushes his arm across Danny Batth and concedes a free-kick on the edge of the Wolves box.

Paul Lambert is hopping up and down going crazy.

Weimann took a tumble in the box. There is contact. I have seen penalties given for less.

The referee probably sees it as a coming together.

Wolves win another corner, but from the delivery to the back post a home head puts it high and wide.

Asmir Begovic invites some pressure with a strange decision to dally on a back-pass before chipping the ball out of play. It results in a couple of crosses that the Blues defence have to be strong to see off.

George Saville goes into the book for a foul to stop a Chelsea break. He (and pretty much everyone else of a Wolves slant) feel like it is they who should have had a free-kick.

Wolves corner. First time they've pushed forward since their early blast.

Diego Costa clears the initial delivery before Asmir Begovic punches away the return.

Wolves are playing a risky game. Their defence is pushing up, allowing plenty of space behind and a few long balls have almost caught them out. Chelsea's forwards don't need asking twice to capitalise on an error.

    Ikeme did well there.

It was a wonderful ball to pick out Willian.

He just had the goalkeeper to beat but didn't get enough on it.

Cesc Fabregas, that string puller extraordinaire, floats a masterful pass right through the heart of the Wolves defence to release Willian, who is not quite able to get the ball down and under control for a finish. Out comes Wolves keeper Carl Ikeme, who is able to block the Brazilian's little chipped effort.

Already signs that Eden Hazard wants to play a major role in this. He has picked up the ball a couple of times and driven on towards the Wolves box. His final ball has been poor, though.

The game being played largely in the Wolves half now. Chelsea pressing high and retrieving possession quickly when they lose it. They are not top of the Premier League for nothing.
