Bit brutal, this - a not-so-gentle reminder that if Fulham do somehow make the playoffs and go up, we're probably going straight back down...

    Jon in London

Ranieri should be the one giving Berbatov that call. Invaluable experience at the top and would almost act as a marquee signing for them. Could be the perfect thing to lift the club out of their current mire and finally get their season going.

    Fulham 0-3 Tottenham

Spurs have had six shots on target this afternoon and scored three of them. Fulham have not looked like scoring with any of their eight attempts throughout. It's been very straightforward for Spurs.

    Fulham 0-3 Tottenham

Scott Parker has a great chance for Fulham but his header is well saved by Michel Vorm - and it wouldn't have counted anyway. The former England man was offside.

Into the last 10 minutes of this tie. Shake hands on it now and call it off.

Actually the last two meetings between these two sides have ended in 4-0 scorelines. A hat-trick?

Moussa Sissoko came on for Harry Kane bu the way. Here comes Mousa Dembele, who was brilliant for Fulham and receives a reception befitting that. He replaces Harry Winks.

Scott Parker, formerly of Spurs of course, is on for Fulham while Harry Kane comes off. A fantastic afternoon for the centre-forward.

Harry Kane was never going to pass it there. He whipped the ball round the goalkeeper with his finish.

    A great hat-trick from a fantastic player.

    Harry Kane HAT-TRICK

    Clinical. Absolutely clinical.

Spurs' front three link up again to expose a brutally high Fulham line, and from the moment Dele Alli clips a pass into Harry Kane's run there was no doubt what was coming. Kane has time to look at the linesman before firing into the bottom corner from 12 yards.

And now a good chance for Fulham! Kevin McDonald meets a corner with a meaty header after getting the better of Victor Wanyama but he heads over!

    Into the final 20.

  11. CLOSE!published at 70 mins

    Fulham 0-2 Tottenham

Almost a hat-trick! Dele Alli sends Harry Kane in with a deft touch over the top, Kane just takes an inadvertent touch with his thigh which puts him out of stride and he can only scoop it over.

    Fulham 0-2 Tottenham

Kevin McDonald is caught in possession yet again, Fulham have just wanted too much time in midfield. Christian Eriksen carries the ball forwards, he could slide in Son but keeps going and ends up running out of room and options. A waste.

Deadline day signing Gohi Cyriac is on for Fulham  in place of Sone Aluko. The number nine on his back. Can he add a needed goal threat?

Fulham win a corner but after playing it short they end up having to play back to their own goalkeeper. Always frustrating...

Bright from Fulham, intricate play in a pocket 30 yards from the Spurs goal but there's no way through the yellow(ish) wall of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.

    Fulham 0-2 Tottenham

Spurs bossing this now, the only sound the songs from the away end. What a move that is, Spurs almost unchallenged as they work the ball from left to right, Christian Eriksen is able to loft a ball to the back post and Dele Alli can only volley over the top. A big miss for him.

    Fulham have not played well.

If you are going to cause an upset to the better side, you have to play well yourself. They have kept giving the ball away.
