Barcelona goalscorer Ivan Rakitic is giving an interview to Spanish television, and his concern is with Aleix Vidal after his injury. "The first time I saw it, I was really worried, really upset," he says. "Let's hope it isn't so bad and he gets back as soon as possible."

Oh, that looks nasty. Aleix Vidal slides into a challenge on Theo Hernandez and looks as if he has done some serious damage to his ankle. It seems as if the injury occurs as he bangs his ankle into the turf. The Barcelona right-back's boot is hanging off as he lies in agony on the turf, and the stretcher is called for. If that's as bad as it looks, Vidal will be out for a while. I really hope it isn't, but I'm not optimistic.

Luis Suarez, meanwhile, has seven minutes left to complete his hat-trick, and almost succeeds with a dink over the goalkeeper from just outside the penalty area. It dips just over the bar. If this was a cricket match, I think Barcelona would have declared by now.

Alaves have quite clearly had enough. Their right-back Carlos Vigaray has a kick out at Neymar after the Brazilian tries one stepover too many. Neymar does have a habit of showboating when Barcelona are running away with games - I saw him do it at Leganes earlier in the season, with sa similar response from the opposition. I'm all for a bit of skill, but it's not very clever self-preservation on his part.

A half-chance for Alaves' Christian Santos, who missed that great opportunity right at the start of the second half, if you can remember back that far. Santos strikes from a tight angle, but Marc-Andre ter Stegn blocks at the near post, and the resulting corner is cleared.

There's a problem here for Luis Suarez, who has taken a whack. There's absolutely no need for Barcelona to risk him, if there are any doubts, especially with Paris St-Germain looming on the horizon. Suarez, being Suarez, seems keen to play on if he can, though, and so he does.

I remember, the best part of 30 years ago, seeing Manchester City beat Huddersfield 10-1 in the old Second Division. Huddersfield were trailing 9-0 when they got a penalty in the last minute, and Andy May's conversion brought a huge cheer from the suffering away fans. Unfortunately for them, David White scored City's 10th pretty much straight from the kick-off. I think all football fans have had days like that. Today, it's the turn of the Alaves supporters.
