What has happened here?
Yohan Cabaye is down after a collision off the ball with Tom Cleverley who has just been booked don't forget.
Replays show there was a little tussle between the two but not much in it.
Valon Behrami takes on a speculative volley which sails over the crossbar. The Swiss midfielder hasn't scored since November 2010 - I can see why.

This is more like it from the home side.
Watford full-back Miguel Britos is forced to head a dangerous Andros Townsend cross away from under his crossbar with Mamadou Sahko lurking.
Minutes later the ball falls to Wilfried Zaha on the edge of the box but he shoots way over.

Finally Crystal Palace attack.
Zaha shows some neat footwork and cuts the ball back from the byline, it falls to Yohan Cabaye whose shot is blocked.
Watford fail to clear the following corner and Tom Cleverley slides in and fouls Zaha.
The former Manchester United midfielder gets a yellow for the tackle.

Crystal Palace have the worst home record in the Premier League while Watford have won just two of their last 12 matches and it's showing. Cabaye has the chance with another set piece for Sam Allardyce's team but his cross is headed away by Watford skipper Troy Deeney.

Groans at Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace have the chance to break but Andros Townsend asks too much of Jason Puncheon. They get another chance but this time Joel Ward passes the ball out of play.

"M'Baye Niang has been the brightest player on the pitch," says Match of the Day commentator Jonathan Pearce.
He's had the only shot on target in the opening 25 minutes.
Watford are starting to grow into this game.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Watford
Crystal Palace have a chance to whip the ball in after winning a free-kick on the left.
What on earth was that Andros?
Mr Townsend's left-footed delivery is horribly over-hit and goes straight out for a goal kick.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Watford
It has gone very quiet at Selhurst Park, perhaps a sign of nerves in the home fans?
Don't forget Palace start this game a point outside of the relegation places but can go 15th with a win if results go their way.
There's not much happening on the pitch as Watford's Daryl Janmaat is down with a blow to the head. It looks as though he'll continue however.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Watford
Tidy play from Watford in midfield releases January loan signing M'Baye Niang.
He has the first meaningful effort on goal in the match. It is on target but straight at Wayne Hennessey.
Even start.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Watford
Yohan Cabaye swings the ball in and it's met by Mamadou Sakho but he heads over.
Moments later the French defender gives away a corner at the other end but Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey claims comfortably.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Watford
Chants of "same old Zaha, always cheating" from the Watford fans.
The winger was involved in a diving controversy at Vicarage Road earlier this season, you may remember.
On the pitch, Palace have won a corner...
Crystal Palace 0-0 Watford
Brilliant direct run from Wilfried Zaha on the left wing.
He's eased off the ball in the penalty area by Craig Cathcart and there are appeals for a penalty from the home fans.
Not for me.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Watford
Both teams test out the opposite defence early on.
Andros Townsend, a goalscorer in Palace's last game, darts down the right but can't force a corner and the ball is cleared.

The players are out on the pitch along with referee Martin Atkinson.

So, as Jonathan says, today is the first of four crucial home games for Sam Allardyce's side.
Leicester, Burnley and Hull will all visit Selhurst Park before the end of the season in games which could go a long way to deciding Palace's fate.
And when you look at the rest of the Eagles' fixtures, today looks even more crucial...
They will face Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United and Southampton between now and the final day.

This is the first of four huge home six pointers for Palace against relegation rivals. They'll need 10 points from them. They also have all of the top six to play as well!
Back-to-back wins have given them hope of staying up but they must win this.
Watford can make themselves safe in three successive winnable games before a big summer clearout that could include the head coach. Walter Mazzari probably needs to better last season's points tally to survive.
Big Sam Allardyce got in a tizz about the Hornet's mascot at Xmas., external He'll be hoping to avoid a nasty sting in the tail this time.
Crystal Palace v Watford (15:00 GMT)
Watford manager Water Mazzarri says his team cannot commit any mistakes against in-form Crystal Palace.
"Palace are one of those teams that, when you look at their squad, nobody thought when we started that it would have fought relegation," he said.
"We will play them in their best moment as they come from two positive results.
"They've got an important fan base so it won't be easy."
