And now Frank Fielding has been forced into his first save of the evening, stretching to his right to keep Rajiv van La Parra's low shot from levelling things up.

The home crowd sound nervy, their side looking more and more like the away team.

Meanwhile, it is half-time in tonight's League One game, where 21st-placed Port Vale and 19th-placed Shrewsbury Town remain goalless.

So while they all pause for a cuppa at Hillsborough, we've still got another 10 minutes or so of first-half action to tuck into at Ashton Gate.

The away side are controlling possession as the rain continues to fall in south Bristol, but City are holding firm for now. I'd say they'll be pleased for half-time to arrive now.

Yann Kermorgant's goal and a couple of fine saves from Ali Al Habsi separate these two sides at the break.

There's going to be a whopping 14 minutes of stoppage time at the end of this first half after that injury to Jonathan Hogg.

Owls boss Carlos Carvalhal is deep in thought. His side can't afford to lose this one. They've lost three of their past five games and have back-to-back away games to come after this.

They're creating chances, but just can't get past Ali Al Habsi.

The pace of the game has just dropped off a bit since that Lee Tomlin goal, with Huddersfield seeing more of the ball but the home side still relatively comfortable keeping them at arm's length.

Rajiv van La Parra has a shot from distance that drops tamely wide of Frank Fielding's left-hand post.

It's an ugly old goal, but that won't bother Bristol City, Lee Johnson and Lee Tomlin one bit.

Huddersfield make an absolute mess of Tomlin's aimless hooked ball up into the air to Tammy Abraham, two or three times failing to clear and in the end the former Middlesbrough and Bournemouth man bundles his way through, rounds the goalkeeper and slots into an empty net.

It's a shock lead but, make no mistake, the Robins are deservedly ahead.

Bristol City have had the better of this opening half an hour in my book, full of energy and effort but not quite carving out that clear chance on Danny Ward's goal.
