    Italian Serie A

In Italy, Napoli have beaten Roma 2-1 in the battle for second place and the final automatic Champions League spot.

Kevin Strootman gave Roma hope in the 89th minute and they almost rescued a draw when Diego Perotti forced a great save from Pepe Reina in the closing moments.

Juventus are now seven points clear at the top, with a game in hand. Napoli are only two points behind second-placed Roma though.
