    Hull 0-0 West Ham

Hull zipping it around nicely but to little effect so far. West Ham are carrying the greater threat and on one foray into the home area force Curtis Davies into an untidy block and clearance.

    Hull still to settle here.

    Hull 0-0 West Ham

A first meaningful touch for Robert Snodgrass and it's met with a few boos from the home fans. Not universal, but definitely audible.

I don't think Hull fans have any complaints about his overall service to the club, although the manner of his ultimate departure irritated a few.

    Hull 0-0 West Ham

Two up top for Hull today, with Hernandez joined in attack by Oumar Niasse, whose two goals secured a priceless win over Swansea recently.

Expect tireless running from those two this afternoon.

Hull v West Ham (15:00 BST)

Hull fans won't need any reminding of the qualities of R Snodgrass Esq.

He was the Tigers' top scorer this season before he made a £10m move to West Ham in January.

His departure was a big blow for the team - fans will be hoping the Scotland international does not inflict further misery on his return to the KCOM today.

Hull v West Ham (15:00 BST)

    Martin Fisher
    Match of the Day commentator

"Hull City have never suffered relegation directly after promotion to the Premier League. If they're to avoid that outcome in May it's clear their escape route centres on continued home success.

"Since becoming head coach, Marco Silva has taken 10 points from a possible 12 at the KCOM Stadium. However, Hull have lost 12 of their last 13 on the road.

"Fellow strugglers Middlesbrough are in town on Wednesday, but first the visit of a badly out-of-form West Ham side who have lost three games in a row and haven't won since 4 February.

"Treading water in mid-table, the Hammers are hampered by an ever-lengthening injury list and are leaking far too many goals... opportunity knocks for Marco's men."

Hello and welcome along to live coverage of today's match between Hull City and West Ham.

It's a huge afternoon for the home side at the KCOM, who are three points adrift of safety in the bottom three and simply cannot afford to lose further ground on their rivals.

They hit the woodwork three times before losing to a dubious penalty in the reverse fixture this season - the Tigers will hope for better luck today.

    Here comes the team news...
