    Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Wilfried Zaha on Palace's win: "I'm stunned. They're top of the league. No one would expect us to come here and do that. I'm a happy man.

"We know there's talent here, we just needed to work together. Everyone is seeing it now. We didn't factor in this result but we had to believe in ourselves.

"I'm enjoying my football again. The team believe in me and the gaffer believes in me. He let's me play freely but there's also structure to the team. I can go out there and express myself."

  2. Can Palace avoid the drop?published at 17:30 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

    Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Sam Allardyce on what this win means to their league position: "It's ours to throw away now. At this moment in time we are safe but there's still nine games to go.

"We must pick up as many points now. When we are mathematically safe we'll look forward to the summer."

  3. 'Performance of the season'published at 17:28 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

    Chris Powell
Former England full-back on Final Score

That was the performance of the season from Crystal Palace.

They showed everyone in this league how to perform against Chelsea and every player was heroic.

They didn't panic when they went 1-0 down and scored two great counter-attacking goals and they could have had another on the break.

  4. 'This is what the Premier League is about'published at 17:27 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

    Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Manager Sam Allardyce on Palace's win: "I think our performance is typical of what seems to be the character of the side. It's the first time we’ve gone behind so early. The determination has shone through. We knew we were going to be pegged back.

"The defence was outstanding, the goalkeeper was outstanding. We could have scored more.

"The game plan worked exceptionally well.

"It's a sweet three points to come to the champions, or who I think are going to be champions, and win. This is what the Premier League is about. There can be a shock anywhere. It will make people sit up and say wow."

  5. United for title next season?published at 17:24 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

    Man Utd 0-0 West Brom

    West Bromwich Albion

West Brom boss Tony Pulis tells BBC Sport: "If we won at the end, it would have been unjust. We are really pleased with the effort and commitment they put in today, United have some really good players. No matter how well set up you are, you will always be on your back foot.

"We have players who can do better in possession but it is a fabulous point to get at Old Trafford.

"The group plays very well together, they play very compact but we had opportunities to spring out of it like against Arsenal. Their resilience and commitment was fantastic.

"We did not want them in behind us and we did not want them to get us one-on-one. A really good team perofrmance.

"Jose is a top manager and it is a transition year for him. I would not bet against him winning the title next year. He will go out and get the players he wants."

James Flynn: Mourinho being prickly with the media over questions is needless. A journo's job is to ask questions. Front up a bad result.

  10. 'Drew too many'published at 17:15 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

    Man Utd 0-0 West Brom

    Manchester United

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho to BBC Sport after being asked if it was an equal match: "You think the game was equal? I can smile win, lose or draw. I am sorry to say, it is a silly question.

"When the team crosses the line once in 90 minutes and when the team is in the opposition half trying and trying and trying, you ask if we were equal?

"David de Gea was sleeping and he did the funny thing at the end, I was laughing with that.

"One team had the ball, one team didn't. One team tried to win, the other tried to draw. One keeper did a funny thing, the other made three great saves.

"We have a lot of draws this season. Teams come here just to defend. Goalkeepers come here to be man of the match. We cannot score a goal even when we are one-on-one. We beat everyone on quality of play and direction of the game, possession, creation and ambition but we drew too many matches."

That superb win for Crystal Palace means they are now four points clear of trouble. What a turnaround under Sam Allardyce.

Hull also boosted their survival hopes and they are now level with Swansea.

It's looking bleak for Sunderland, who are now seven points from safety.

    Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Mamadou Sakho on Crystal Palace's win over Chelsea: "We played a good game. It was really hard but I think we played with a big heart. Our fans really shouted for us and they gave us a lot of encouragement. We played 12 against 11.

"It was important to come and win here. We spoke at half-time about needing the three points. We weren't here to go back with a draw.

"We play with big determination. I'm so happy for us. It's a good team with good players and we are starting to believe. If you fight always like it's your last day, you can reverse everything."
