    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Southampton really should have this game wrapped up by now, they have had a host of chances.

Midfielder Steven Davies is away to celebrate as he strikes a low effort towards the bottom corner, but somehow Mamadou Sakho sticks a leg out to keep it out.

The fall balls to Davies on the follow-up and again he thinks he has scored, but Damien Delaney is the defender to save Palace this time.

RememberTheFuture: There's now actually a genuine concern I could be sitting in the London stadium next year watching us in the Championship...

Dan D:  Aaaaand here's where Tottenham's annual capitulation begins. Change the record guys, please!

    Swansea City 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur

Swansea are defending with every scrap of Welsh grit in their being. It's like Alamo in there. Vincent Janssen is on to a loose ball, but is clobbered by Lukasz Fabianski. No hint of a foul, just mighty keeping.

    Chelsea 2-1 Man City

Pep Guardiola is going to explode on the touchline, so much so that his opposite number Antonio Conte is asking for him to chill out.

The Manchester City boss is unhappy with a number of decisions made by referee Mike Dean, but the man with the whistle has not been flustered.

Mike Dean centre of attention again? Never.

    Liverpool 2-1 Bournemouth

After gifting Bournemouth their opener earlier on, Georginio Wijnaldum is off the naughty step. On the left of the box he turns two Bournemouth defenders inside out and hangs in a cross that Divock Origi cannot fail to convert. Liverpool are going level on points with Spurs.

  9. What does it all mean?published at 21:17 British Summer Time 5 April 2017

We wondered if it would be a season-defining evening at both ends of the Premier League and it is turning out to be as much.

As it stands, Chelsea's 10-point lead at the top will be restored, with the rest scrapping for the Champions League. That fight has Arsenal back in the mix.

At the bottom, Middlesbrough are joining Sunderland on the life raft. Hull and Swansea are upwardly mobile, while West Ham will only be three points above the drop zone.

Hull grab their fourthpublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 5 April 2017

    Hull 4-2 Middlesbrough

This may well be the game that sends Middlesbrough down.

Harry Maguire gallops up field for a free-kick and Andrew Robertson's comes to him at the back post and the former Sheffield United man plants a pin-point header past the reach of Victor Valdes into the far corner.

Steve Agnew inconsolable on the touchline.

Where has Mesut Ozil been?published at 21:13 British Summer Time 5 April 2017

    Arsenal 2-0 West Ham United

Honestly, if Mesut Ozil did more of this, he wouldn't have half of north London on his back. It's a telepathic interchange with Alexis Sanchez on the left, the Chilean backheeling into the path of the German, who squares for Theo Walcott to double the lead from eight yards.

It's going to be a Long night for Shane.

The Southampton striker is given the fourth or fifth clear-cut chance of the game.

This time he is through on goal, one-on-one with Wayne Hennessey, but the Palace goalkeeper tips with Long's effort.

Saints missing the prolific Manolo Gabbiadini.

    Liverpool 1-1 Bournemouth

Liverpool are turning up the heat here, pushing Bournemouth back towards The Kop. Nathaniel Clyne rattles the bar from the right of the box, with wave after wave of red attack continuing from the rebound. The Cherries need to batten down the hatches.
