Tom McCarron: Liverpool's lack of squad depth couldn't be more exposed today and it's the main reason we'll miss out on the Champions League places.

Leaders Doncaster Rovers will be promoted if they beat Mansfield (15:00 BST) while second-placed Plymouth Argyle, who are at Crawley, could make sure of at least a play-off place.

At the bottom, Leyton Orient - nine points from safety with six games remaining - are at 11th-placed Cambridge United while Newport, who are also threatened with relegation to the National League, are at promotion hopefuls Exeter City.

    Claudio Bravo is back.

The Chilean returns to the Manchester City starting line-up for the first time since 21 January, when he conceded twice in a 2-2 draw with Tottenham, when the visitors only had two shots.

Prior to that, all four Everton shots ended up going past him in a 4-0 defeat at Goodison Park.

Should the Chilean actually save anything, it would therefore be the first shot on target he had saved since 2 January.

It's less than a week since Coventry City were winning the EFL Trophy at Wembley in front of around 75,000 fans, yet the Sky Blues could be relegated to League Two later.

The fate of League One's bottom club will be sealed if they lose at home to Peterborough United (15:00 BST). Coventry could also go down if they win - depending on other results.

  7. Championship previewpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

Brighton returned to the top of the Championship table on Friday after winning 2-1 at QPR - their third win in the space of six days.

Newcastle United will replace them at the summit if they win at sixth-placed Sheffield Wednesday (17:30 BST) while Preston North End could close in on a play-off place if they win at Leeds United (15:00 BST).

At the bottom, Wigan Athletic have to beat relegated Rotherham United at the DW Stadium (15:00 BST) if they are to give themselves a chance of staying up.

  8. Team news - the Ayew derbypublished at 14:22 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

West Ham v Swansea (15:00 BST)

Just the one change for West Ham from the side that lost 3-0 at Arsenal in midweek.

Andy Carroll, who came off during that game, drops to the bench, with Robert Snodgrass coming in. It means Andre Ayew will play as a lone striker for the Hammers, while his brother Jordan will be up front for Swansea.

Swansea , who capitulated late on against Tottenham on Wednesday, name the same starting XI.

Swans top scorer Fernando Llorente has missed two games with an ankle injury and is among the substitutes.

All over at the Lane, where Spurs have dished out a shellacking that could have been even worse for Watford.

That's nine goals in three games for Spurs, who continue the pursuit of Chelsea.

Come on, what neutral wouldn't mind Bournemouth getting a result later to keep this title race interesting?

    Stoke v Liverpool (15:00 BST)

On that Stoke-Liverpool team news, it's anyone's guess how either team will line-up.

Stoke could be a flat back four, or three centre-backs. Geoff Cameron could either be part of the defence, or along Joe Allen in midfield.

As for Liverpool, what is going on there? Apart from Origi, Woodburn and maybe Wijnaldum, that is a lot of defensively minded players.

Two former Liverpool players start for Stoke City - midfielder Joe Allen and full-back Glen Johnson. But Peter Crouch misses out.

There's a return for Xherdan Shaqiri and Jon Walters.

Surprise starts for both 17-year-old Ben Woodburn and 18-year-old Trent Alexander-Arnold for Liverpool as they hunt their first Premier League away win of 2017.

Philippe Coutinho, who was ill during the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth in midweek, and Roberto Firmino both start on the bench.

West Brom winger Matt Phillips make his first start since 11 February as he returns from a hamstring injury.

The Scot is one of three changes for Tony Pulis from the midweek defeat to Watford as Salomon Rondon and James Morrison also come in.

Hal Robson-Kanu, James McClean and Chris Brunt drop to the bench.

Manolo Gabbiadini misses out altogether through injury.

    Stoke City v Liverpool

    Very, very interesting.

No Philippe Coutinho for Liverpool, the Brazilian is only well enough for a place on the bench. Roberto Firmino is also only on the bench, though that seems to be tactical.

Ben Woodburn, the 17-year-old, starts, as does Trent Alexander-Arnold.

That's a young team for a trip to Stoke.
