Perhaps understandably, a few Barcelona players need a breather after their efforts in beating Paris St-Germain; there are five changes in all.

Sergi Roberto, who came on as a substitute to score the winner against PSG, is on from the start, as are Jordi Alba, Andre Gomes, Denis Suarez and Arda Turan, Samuel Umtiti, Ivan Rakitic and Andres Iniesta drop to the bench, while Rafinha and Neymar are omitted altogether.

Barcelona: ter Stegen; Roberto, Pique, Mascherano, Alba; Gomes, Busquets, Denis Suarez; Messi, Luis Suarez, Turan.

Substitutes: Cillessen, Digne, Umtiti, Rakitic, Iniesta, Alena, Alcacer.

After the unreal drama of midweek, it's back to the grind for Barcelona this afternoon. Not that it's been much of a grind of late; they're top of La Liga and have scored 17 goals in their last three matches in all competitions.

In addition to putting six past Paris St-Germain, they have also hit half-a-dozen against Sporting Gijon and five at the expense of Celta Vigo. Not bad going. Can Deportivo stop them today?

In fact, even if Barcelona won 35-0 and the 35th goal was scored by two small children running on to the pitch before being escorted off by their mother, it wouldn't eclipse Wednesday.
