As you can imagine there is a very sombre atmosphere are Tottenham.

The whole football world were shocked and saddened. I was at the training ground with him laughing saying he looked fitter and younger than when he was playing.

It is very difficult to comprehend.

Ugo Ehiogu was a mountain of a man, very strong but very unassuming away from the football pitch. He was everybody's friend, loved a chat, loved football.

It's such a shame and for Tottenham, I think this could have an affect on the players.

I know the Spurs medical team worked to keep him alive and it's just so tragic.

Most people remember Ugo's performances for Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and England and won't know that in the last few years he has been instrumental in putting Tottenham where they are today.

He has been nurturing, mentoring and coaching all of those players. He has done a fantastic job and will be difficult to replace.

He was a friend, a family man and a gentleman of the game.

We've been asking for your freaky football moments, after Brighton keeper David Stockdale scored two identical and unfortunate own goals against Norwich on Friday...

Had a similarly Stockdale game playing in goal in 5 a side where we lost 11-6, and no less than 8 of their goals were freakish deflections. Great for a keeper.

  7. Will the FA Cup influence the title race?published at 12:03 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Chelsea v Tottenham (17:15 BST)

The FA Cup is still revered as one of the great cup competitions in football, but there's an added impetus to the first semi-final today - it could have an effect on the Premier League title race.

Second-place Tottenham have chased down leaders Chelsea and cut the gap to just four points in the league table. Could there be a momentum shift after today's result?

Spurs have not had a happy time in the last four of the FA Cup. They've lost six semi-finals in a row and are looking to avoid a record seventh this afternoon.

The Blues, meanwhile, have won the FA Cup six times since their London rivals last lifted the trophy in 1991.

Poor old David Stockdale didn't have the best Friday night.

The Brighton goalkeeper scored two (yes, two) own goals in his side's defeat by Norwich in the Championship.

Twice Alex Pritchard shot at goal, and twice his attempt hit the post and bounced in off the unsuspecting Stockdale.

  18. Remembering Ugo Ehiogupublished at 11:07 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

Tributes are still pouring in for Ugo Ehiogu.

The former England defender died at the age of 44 on Friday after suffering a cardiac arrest the previous day.

England manager Gareth Southgate, who was Ehiogu's centre-back partner at Aston Villa and Middlesbrough, has described him as "colossal" on the pitch and a "gentle giant" off it.

Former Boro goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer, who won the League Cup with Ehiogu, spoke to BBC Radio 5 live about the loss of his former team-mate, saying: "I can't fathom he's no longer here.

"He was a tremendous person, a tremendous character, a dedicated footballer and dedicated to his family. He was a great guy to be around, so full of life and so enthusiastic."
