  1. '21 points from 10 games to win title'published at 17:57 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Stoke 1-2 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte: "I am pleased because to play Stoke at this point of the season, you have to be prepared mentally and physically. For this reason, we won today. It was a tough game, we tried to play football and deserved to win. We faced a really good team.

"I am pleased for Gary Cahill because we conceded a penalty after a little push from him. To score the winning goal is great for him and our team.

"Diego Costa played very well and showed great discipline. It is not easy to start the game with a yellow card and then to stay calm. Diego is showing me a great will to think and fight for the team. I want to continue this way.

"We need to take 21 points for the title win. There are 10 games to go, today was a great win, a good signal but it is important to continue with the same commitment and work rate as a team.

Chelsea's title to lose? "To have a 10 points gap, 13 at the moment, but I like to think our opponents will win tomorrow. We have to look at ourselves. We are happy. We must be ready to fight, today we were ready."

    Stoke 1-2 Chelsea

    Stoke City

Stoke defender Erik Pieters: "I put my hands up, I made a mistake for their winning goal. It is a bad one from me. It is hard to take.

"We did well against them, we had chances and should have taken a point.

"It is always nice to play the big teams with this kind of (aggressive) game, I enjoy it.

"You know how Diego Costa is, he loves to play this game. He is a good striker and you have to keep calm and defend him."

Have you played the champions today? "Yes I think we have."

    West Ham 2-3 Leicester

    West Ham United

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic, speaking to Match of the Day: "It is very frustrating for us to lose the game. We didn't start well and what is really disappointing is the way we conceded three goals. The first goal was very sloppy. Two goals from set-pieces. We know they are good at those. We need to defend them.

"We deserved something from the game. We created lots of chances. In this league you can't afford to be 3-1 down and try to turn the game around. But they showed character. Last 20 minutes the ball just didn't want to go in.

"You can call it poor finishing but we have to give huge credit to Kasper Schmeichel , especially for the save to the last chance from Andy Carroll.

"What gives us hope is our performance in the second half. We were good with and without the ball. All we need to add is goals."

On injuries: "It doesn't look good with Winston [Reid] and now it looks like Michail [Antonio] won't be able to go with the England squad. He felt a hammy [hamstring]. We have to assess them next couple of days. Hopefully, they will be fit after the international break."

  5. 'We didn't deserve this result'published at 17:48 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Everton 4-0 Hull

    Hull City

Hull City manager Marco Silva: " Of course there is disappointment because it was one game at 70 minutes and then after that is was a differnet game.

"4-0 doesn't show what happened. We didn't deserve this result and we don't deserve what happened.

"We came to compete and we played as a team. We caused problems for out opponents and had some good chances.

"We started well in first 25 minutes of the second half. We made them change the system but after that, the game changed and our players don't deserve us.

"I don't want to talk about it too much but I saw five minutes before, Lukaku pulled back our player but he didn't get a decision.

"It's for the ref to decide but we didn't deserve this. It decided the game. We came here to fight until the last min.

"It could cause big problems in next game as we lose the player for the next three games".

  6. 'Everyone loves Rom'published at 17:45 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Everton 4-0 Hull

    Everton

Everton manager Ronald Koeman: "It's great of course, you like to be confident at home. We have had a great run at home. But the final result didn't reflect what happened on the pitch.

"At several moments in the game Hull were strong. The decision might have felt too harsh at that moment but it gave Everton the freshness to kill the game off. We were not at the best. We are strong and with 10 v 11, we have a team who will punish them.

"The fans love Romelu Lukaku and everyone loves Rom. Yes, you may be able to hold him back for 85 minutes but then he was focused to the last second. We killed the game perfectly.

"You need to have hope in life! Of course we like to keep best players and we will do the maximum to keep these players but the final decision will be with the player himself.

"Calvert-Lewin has been out for six-seven weeks with his ankle injury but I took the decision because you need to give young players a chance. Whether they are 18 or 35, the best will start and he has been great. He scored his first goal but it's a whole team performance that matters."

Watching Kasper make that save today was just like watching his dad. He must have taught his son do that, because it's just like watching Peter Schmeichel save from close range.

  8. 'Not out of it yet'published at 17:38 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    West Ham 2-3 Leicester

    Leicester City

Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel: "First half we did really, really well but in the second tiredness from the other night showed. We had to dig deep and luckily came up with the goods.

"You just try to make yourself as big as you can and hope the ball hits you. Nine times out 10 it doesn't but thankfully, with the Carroll shot at the end it did.

"We are not out of it but that is another three points and three wins in a row and that is huge."

  9. 'Next game is most important'published at 17:36 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    West Ham 2-3 Leicester

    Leicester City

Leicester defender Robert Huth: "Once we go ahead we don't tend to lose games. We made it more difficult for ourselves.

"I always felt we needed to go 1-0 up in a game. It happened against Liverpool and since then we have taken leads and won games. Long may it continue.

"The next game is most important. We can recharge the batteries and go again."

Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare, speaking to Match of the Day: "We showed all the attributes to win a game. We started really well and got the goals but it was backs to the wall at the end.

"We have to give West Ham credit. They threw everything at us in the second half and Kasper had to make some special saves again. My heart was in my mouth at times.

"On the outside you try to keep and collected to keep the players focused. I am intensely proud of the results we have got.

"We have important league games before the Champions League game with Atletico Madrid. We needed something from today, heading in to the international break. We can recharge the batteries now."

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Watford

    Watford

Watford manager Walter Mazzarri: “We are not happy, there was a foul before the goal and it was an own goal. We didn’t deserve to lose.

“We should have played better on the wings, if we did we probably would have scored a goal. We didn’t concede anything, to lose like this is disappointing.”

  14. 'We're getting there'published at 17:24 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Watford

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce: "We had so many games over the Christmas and New Year period and injuries, the players were looking thinking ‘what does he want?’ We changed the backroom staff and are now starting to implement our ideas and now are seeing the benefit.

"We are looking very solid. No doubt the biggest problem was the amount of goals we were conceding and now we are not conceding those goals.

"It is now four wins in six. We are getting there. This was a tough game, Watford recently won at Arsenal. We toughed it out and our quality paid off and we deserved the win."

Chelsea have got the quality to change things, like bringing Fabregas on for a bit more creativity.

Chelsea can get over the line, however it is. Whether it is a last minute header or a fantastic strike into the top corner. They have that ability that other teams lack.

  19. 'It's Chelsea's title'published at 17:16 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Stoke 1-2 Chelsea

    Stoke City

Stoke boss Mark Hughes: "We are desperately disappointed we did not get anything out of the game. The ball dropped kindly for them and they got the winner. It was an evenly matched game and they had late opportunities when we went for a goal.

"It is Chelsea's title now and you could see from their celebrations we ran them close.

"We kept on going, kept on moving the ball but there was a suggestion for a red card for our penalty. It was a little bit feisty, we gave everything and i cannot criticise our players.

"We had a goal disallowed and the player made a meal of the slight push. He was not affecting Bruno Martins Indi getting to the ball.

"We have given a good account against the champions elect.

"Diego Costa draws fouls and tries to make most of contact - when they are not fouls. He is adept at the dark arts and everyone in football recognises that. He has many elements and factors, you have to put up with them."

What a game at Burton Albion , although not necessarily for the nerves of the home side. 1-0 down, then 3-1 up, Albion have lost the game at Brentford 5-3! Lasse Vibe and Sergi Canos both scored twice for the Bees.

Fulham have missed another big chance to move into a play-off spot, losing 3-1 at home to Wolves . Managerless Norwich are back in the hunt of the top six after a 2-0 win over Barnsley . Elsewhere, QPR have hammered doomed Rotherham 5-1 and Birmingham have held Newcastle to a goalless draw. That last result means Brighton can go top with a win at Leeds in the evening kick-off.
