  1. Lukaku the centre of attentionpublished at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

Everton v Hull City (15:00 GMT)

Romelu Lukaku is poised to become the first Evertonian to hit 20 league goals in a season since Gary Lineker - unfortunately he may also be poised for a Goodison exit.

The richest contract the club has ever offered  has been rejected,  and a stand-off between the club's hierarchy and the player's representatives seems certain to ensue.

If Lukaku does leave - and that is by no means certain - Everton might even reconsider their stance on Oumar Niasse.

Expensively recruited by Roberto Martinez - and quickly consigned to the margins - the Senegalese forward has scored four goals in 10 games on loan at Hull.

Unfortunately for the Tigers - and probably much to Everton's relief - Niasse is ineligible to play against his parent club.

Romelu Lukaku is on 19 goals at the moment.

Will the Belgian still be at Goodison Park next season after rejecting the offer of a new £140,000-a-week contract?

  3. Hazard has 'a little problem'published at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Stoke v Chelsea (15:00 GMT)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte:  "I said yesterday that there were two situations I had to check - and they were Eden [Hazard] and John [Terry]. They have little problems but I prefer to focus on this game.

"Stoke are a good team, a strong team, physical with good technique. It's my first time in Stoke. I expect an atmosphere that's exciting."

  4. Too tough for Stoke?published at 14:31 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Stoke v Chelsea (15:00 GMT)

Stoke have won this fixture in two of the last three seasons, but despite frustrating Manchester City last time out, they will have to go to another level against the current league leaders.

Chelsea's consistency is there to be admired by everyone. Eighteen wins and just one defeat from the last 21 Premier League games tells its own impressive story.

Quite simply, they are title-winning statistics. However, Antonio Conte will not allow his team to take their foot off the pedal as he eyes a repeat of Carlo Ancelotti's  league and cup double."

Mark Hughes' team have only lost twice in their last nine league games and will hope that the Chelsea machine isn't quite as well oiled as it has been for the majority of this season.

  6. Forget about fantasy footballpublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

West Ham v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

    Alistair Mann
    MOTD commentator

Thoughts of Atletico Madrid will somehow have to be discarded as Leicester have four demanding league fixtures before they can once again indulge in a little fantasy football.

If the Foxes aren't careful, they could find themselves remembered as the first Champions League quarter-finalists (and, who knows, maybe further than that!) to be relegated in the same campaign.

It's away from home where their season has particularly imploded, winless on their travels in more than a year and with just three points accumulated on the road.

Hosts West Ham are by no means completely clear of trouble yet either, with results in their inaugural season in the London Stadium of particular concern. It all points to a fixture that's simply brimming with possibilities.

West Ham v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

West Ham make two changes to the side who lost 3-2 to Bournemouth last time out as Sam Byram and Andre Ayew come in for Mark Noble and Sofiane Feghouli respectively.

Feghouli drops to the bench but captain Noble is ruled out with a dead leg. Winston Reid will skipper the Hammers instead.

West Ham XI:  Randolph, Byram, Fonte, Reid, Cresswell, Obiang, Kouyate, Antonio, Lanzini, Ayew, Carroll.

Subs:  Adrian, Masuaku, Collins, Nordtveit, Fernandes, Feghouli, Snodgrass.

The big team news though is Leicester captain Wes Morgan is out with a back injury he picked up in that thrilling midweek Champions League win over Sevilla.

It ends a run of 87 consecutive Premier League matches for the centre-back, who'd also played every minute of this season so far.

Morgan's replacement, Yohan Benalouane, makes his Premier League debut, while Kasper Schmeichel skippers the Foxes.

Leicester XI:  Schmeichel, Simpson, Huth, Benalouane, Fuchs, Mahrez, Ndidi, Drinkwater, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.

Subs:  Zieler, Chilwell, Musa, King, Amartey, Slimani, Gray.

Just the one change for Stoke from the team who drew 0-0 at Manchester City in their last game 10 days ago. Marko Arnautovic has recovered from illness, and replaced Mame Birma Diouf, who drops to the bench.

Stoke XI: Grant; Bardsley, Shawcross, Martins Indi, Pieters; Allen, Cameron; Walters, Sobhi, Arnautovic; Berahino.

The big news, as we've already told you, is that Eden Hazard has not travelled with the Chelsea squad, because of what manager Antonio Conte has called "a little problem". Pedro replaces him.

That's the only change to the team who beat Manchester United in the FA Cup on Monday; Nemanja Matic retains his place alongside N'Golo Kante in midfield, with Cesc Fabregas on the bench. John Terry is not involved in the squad; he, like Hazard, appears to be suffering with a minor knock.

Chelsea XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Willian, Costa, Pedro.

Substitutes: Begovic, Zouma, Ake, Fabregas, Loftus-Cheek, Chalobah, Batshuayi.

    Sunderland v Burnley (15:00 GMT)

    Guy Mowbray

It has to be better than last time. Even David Moyes described January's Stadium of Light FA Cup meeting between these teams as 'a slog for everybody'.

This, though, has the added 'big chance' factor.

Sunderland surely have to go into the international break with the boost of a win.

Anything else against a team that's only taken two points on the road all season will have many declaring that another escape from relegation will be beyond them. Most outside onlookers already have.

Burnley are desperate to break what Sean Dyche describes as 'an anomaly' in their season - failure to win away. Here's their big chance, in a game that could prove a big deal.
