  1. Not looking great for the Redspublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Cliftonville 0-1 Crusaders

For whatever reason, Cliftonville can never seem to do themselves justice against Crusaders and they're looking distinctly second-best here at the moment.

  2. goal

GOALpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Dungannon Swifts 0-1 Glentoran

Glentoran take a deserved lead on 28 minutes as Fra Brennan heads into his own net from a Curtis Allen cross. Allen and Stephen O'Flynn went close for the visitors before the opener while Jamie Glackin fired wide for the Swifts.

  3. MISS!published at 15:30 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Cliftonville 0-1 Crusaders

It could have been two! Jordan Owens found himself with a glorious opportunity at the back post, but the striker headed straight at Mooney, who pushed the ball behind for a corner.

What a chance that was for Crusaders to virtually kill the game off, and you would have bet your house on Owens burying that.

    Coleraine 0-0 Glenavon

Glenavon are bossing affairs at the Showgrounds and Reece Marshall wastes a good chance as he heads straight at Bannsiders keeper Chris Johns from two yards.

  6. goal

GOALpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Cliftonville 0-1 Crusaders

Michael Carvill gives Crusaders the lead in the 28th minute!

What a huge goal this could turn out to be. The ever-dependable midfielder was in the right place at the right time to bundle home from close range after Jason Mooney made an initial save.

  7. CLOSE!published at 15:27 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Carrick Rangers 0-1 Ards

Ards almost double their lead as Guillaume Keke's goalbound shot smacks off team-mate Matthew Shevlin and flies just over. The hosts have also threatened with Declan O'Brien launching an audacious effort from close to halfway and ball beats keeps keeper Haron Hogg but drifts wide.

  8. Sky Blues strugglingpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Ballymena 0-1 Linfield

The home side have lost pretty much everything in midfield so far and that will be particularly frustrating for David Jeffrey, who has set-up with a 3-5-2 mainly to nullify the threat of the Linfield players.

He might think about changing that, though, as the away side are flowing forward impressively at every opportunity.

At the other end, the ageless Roy Carroll, fresh from signing his one-year contract extension this week, has been a spectator.

Just to keep you abreast of matters at the summit, Linfield will lead the Irish Premiership table tonight should it stay this way, with Crusaders being held by Cliftonville.

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:19 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Cliftonville 0-0 Crusaders

It's been far from a thrilling, free-flowing start at Solitude. Plenty of stops and starts as both sides struggle to settle into an early rhythm. Tomas Cosgrove did go close for the home side with a free-kick, though, but we're yet to see the best of the Crusaders attack.

  10. ouch!

Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Coleraine 0-0 Glenavon

Coleraine's Brad Lyons is stretchered off after 15 minutes with what looks a nasty injury - he is replaced by Ian Parkhill. Bannsiders boss Oran Kearney will hope the injury does not keep Lyons out of next month's Irish Cup final against Linfield.

  11. goal

GOALpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Ballymena 0-1 Linfield

Jimmy Callacher breaks the deadlock for the Blues! The defender rose brilliantly to meet Niall Quinn's cross from the right and head his eighth goal of the campaign (an impressive haul for the defender, you must say).

David Jeffrey will certainly question his defenders, who allowed Callacher to jump unchallenged. His opposite number David Healy, on the other hand, will be delighted as he watches from the stands as that goal will calm the nerves his players will have undoubtedly been feeling.

  12. Cagey openingpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Ballymena United 0-0 Linfield

Both sides showing a lot of respect to one another. That's perhaps understandable - particularly for Linfield - in what has been a subdued opening ten minutes.

  13. Setback for Crusaderspublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Cliftonville 0-0 Crusaders

Richard Clarke is moving very gingerly after sustaining an injury and has been replaced by Jordan Forsythe in the eighth minute. A blow for Crusaders early on!

  14. goal

GOALpublished at 15:05 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Carrick Rangers 0-1 Ards

Ards go in front after just three minutes as Guillaume Keke volleys in from 16 yards. A corner is punched out by Brian Neeson but the ball falls to Keke and he slams in his sixth goal in seven goals. It's good news for Portadown fans - a Carrick win would send the basement side down.

  15. Fires over!published at 15:04 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Ballymena United 0-0 Linfield

A Linfield corner is half-cleared by Ballymena and it comes to Stephen Lowry, but his effort is always rising and sails well over the bar.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:02 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Cliftonville 0-0 Crusaders

We're off and running at Solitude and Declan Caddell found himself in behind the Cliftonville defence. He balanced himself before unleashing a left-footed drive straight into the side-netting. Early warning sign for the home side though.

  17. Swifts and Glens target Europa play-off spotpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Dungannon Swifts v Glentoran

Dungannon boss Rodney McAree and Glens counterpart Gary Haveron are both demanding improvement from their sides as they chase a seventh-placed finish which would secure a place in the Europa League play-offs.

Former Glentoran manager Scott Young is BBC Radio Ulster's expert summariser at Solitude this afternoon and he's been speaking about the return of Jordan Owens to the Crusaders team.

    Quote Message

It will be interesting to see how fit he really is because I know he's been receiving some intensive treatment this week, but he's certainly pivotal for Crusaders because he's got that presence up front and he delivers more often than not. I don't think Crusaders have been as fluent as the last two seasons but it doesn't matter how well you play as long as you deliver three points.
