  3. goal

GOALpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

    Crusaders 5-1 Glenavon

It might not decide the destination of the title but Jordan Owens produces a simply beautiful strike, curling a delightful shot beyond Taylor into the top-corner for his 21st goal of the season. It's a fine way to round off another stellar individual campaign for the striker.

    Glentoran 1-1 Ards

Eric Foley equalises for Glentoran in the 74th minute but Jonathan Smith passes up an opportunity to put the Glens in front when his penalty was saved by Aaron Hogg.

  5. CLOSE!published at 16:32 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

  6. CLOSE!published at 16:29 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

    Crusaders 4-1 Glenavon

Joel Cooper has an impressive portfolio of goals in his career already and he almost adds a glorious individual effort to that! Using some fancy footwork to evade two challenges, he cuts inside before nutmegging another defender and flashing a left-footed effort right across the goal.

    Crusaders 4-1 Glenavon

Crusaders have done their job admirably today but, perhaps inevitably, there's an overriding feeling of disappointment now. It's been a roller coaster of a season, but one that will end with a bad taste in their mouths.

  10. Second-half success for Bluespublished at 16:25 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

    Cliftonville 1-3 Linfield

    Quote Message

Linfield have come out a different side in the second half and they have blown Cliftonville away. Cliftonville now look like the disjointed team and it's all come together for Linfield.

  11. goal

GOALpublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

    Crusaders 4-1 Glenavon

What a strike! Robbie Norton pulls one right out of the top drawer to give Glenavon a spectacular piece of consolation and rub salt in the wounds of Crusaders. There's no consolation for Crusaders at this point though...

  12. goal

GOALpublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

    Cliftonville 1-3 Linfield

What a hat-trick from Andrew Waterworth. The Linfield striker slots home a penalty after he was pulled back by Chris Ramsey, who was red-carded. Both the penalty and dismissal looked a bit harsh but the Blues are now on course to win the title. It's a 12-minute treble from Waterworth and the Reds now need three goals to prevent Linfield securing a Premiership triumph.

  13. CLOSE!published at 16:15 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

    Coleraine 1-1 Ballymena Utd

Jamie McGonigle almost nets his second for Coleraine but his right-foot shot is well saved by Ross Glendinning.

  14. goal

GOALpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

    Dungannon Swifts 1-0 Portadown

Terry Fitzpatrick nudges Dungannon in front five minutes after the break at Stangmore Park, tucking the ball away after good work by Seanan Clucas.

  15. Feeling of resignationpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

    Crusaders 4-0 Glenavon

News of Waterworth's second has further deflated the Seaview crowd. The atmosphere has completely transformed in the last five minutes and some supporters are beginning to look like they have that sinking feeling.

  16. goal

GOALpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

    Cliftonville 1-2 Linfield

Andrew Waterworth strikes for the second time in five minutes to put Linfield ahead. It's a fine individual goal, with the striker leaving his marker on the deck before sliding the ball into the bottom corner. This game has been transformed and the Blues have one hand on the Gibson Cup.

    Crusaders 4-0 Glenavon

Oh dear. Suddenly there are murmurings of discontent from the stands at Seaview as they hear about Waterworth's equaliser. The pendulum swings back in Linfield's favour and Crusaders need a Cliftonville response!

  18. goal

GOALpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

    Cliftonville 1-1 Linfield

Andrew Waterworth stabs home an equaliser from close-range just two minutes into the second half. A deep corner is headed back into the goalmouth and Waterworth shows his striker's instincts by reacting quickest to score a goal which, as it it stands, would clinch the title for Linfield.
