That's the third time this season that Dundee have lost out to Celtic by a single goal this season.
But, despite the close call, Celtic march on relentlessly and are now undefeated in 36 domestic games this season.
The gap between themselves and Aberdeen is now back to 25 points with nine games remaining and they could clinch the title in their next Premiership game against Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday 2 April.
Celtic could be crowned champions if the Dons fail to secure at least a point against Dundee two days earlier.

Dundee manager Paul Hartley on BBC Radio Scotland: "I felt, especially the second half, we were excellent.
"They never really cut us open and it was a bit of sucker punch with the opening goal.
"We conceded a poor second goal and we go 4-4-2 and had a few chances.
"The players never gave in and kept going.
"El Bakhtaoui scored a lot of goals for Dunfermline, but he has jumped two leagues and we knew it was never going to be easy for him, but he does have that in his locker - it is just consistency he needs."

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers on BBC Radio Scotland: "We've seen Dundee of late and they have picked up of late.
"They make things very difficult and we knew it would be a tough game.
"But we deserved the win and made it tougher at the end than it should have been.
"We had chances to make it more comfortable and we gave away a poor goal fromm our position, although it was a great finish.
"They put in some high balls into our box at the end, but the players did magnificently to defend that."

That defeat, of course, means Dundee are still left looking behind them.
They are only six points ahead Hamilton Academical, who slipped to the bottom of the Premiership table after Inverness Caledonian Thistle picked up a point in the Highland derby against Ross County.
