Can Saints fashion something from the free-kick?
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Only Sunderland and Middlesbrough have scored fewer goals at home this season than Southampton.
They don't look much like improving on their current tally of 17 here.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Dusan Tadic is the latest Saints man to try his lucky with a shot from outside the area.
Dusan Tadic is the latest Saints man to get his shot nowhere near the target.
Sigh.
Hull have had the only shot on target of the game.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Sam Clucas takes a free-kick from deep - Hull again use Harry Maguire as a focal point at the back post, the captain winning yet another header back across the area but yet again Southampton are wise to it and win the second ball.
The first half was intriguing, at least. This has been pretty poor since the break though.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Finally a burst of life in this second half as Andrew Robertson strides into the Southampton area but the left-back's reverse pass finds a red-and-white shirt instead of a black one.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Not the best of clearances from Andrew Robertson as the ball falls to Steven Davis but the Saints captain can't quite wrap his foot round the ball enough to keep his shot down.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
And it's Josh Sims on for Sofiane Boufal, with Shane Long replacing Manolo Gabbiadini.
Saints' costly pair had looked underwhelming out there - time for a bit of a youth and a burst of pace.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Nathan Redmond comes forward and unleashes a shot well over the bar.
Looks like Claude Puel has seen more than enough - a double change is coming...
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Having said both sides are coming forward, it's all settled down again.
Here's something perhaps?
Kamil Grosicki looks to get in behind but is ruled offside...
...on the replay it looks like the Pole was level and would've been well positioned to get a shot off.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Oumar Niasse drills a low ball from the right across the face of goal and Fraser Forster has to be quick to smother the ball before Kamil Grosicki can nip in.
Both teams looking to come forward and grab an early second-half goal.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Nice turn from Dusan Tadic as he finds Nathan Redmond and then gets the ball back but his shot is deflected wide, before Hull clear from the corner.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Hull look to get in down the Southampton right but Jack Stephens does really well to guide Lazar Markovic off the ball and clear.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Southampton nearly have a great chance to go ahead as Cedric is free on the right, his cross finding an unmarked Sofiane Boufal on the edge of the area.
Boufal skips past one tackle - he may have got a penalty had he gone down - only to have Harry Maguire take the ball off his toes with a wonderfully-timed tackle to prevent the Moroccan getting a shot off.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Harry Maguire of all people strides forcefully out of defence, ball at his feet, trying to spark an early Hull attack.
Southampton are alert enough though to prevent the visitors getting in a decent delivery and finally smother the ball away from them.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Here we go again.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Right, the teams are back out on the pitch and we'll soon be back under way.
A goal.
Please.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
Prior to kick-off at BBC Sport towers we were discussing the most incident-free Premier League games this season (top of that sorry pile is Crystal Palace 1-0 Watford on 18 March by the way).
Well three of the four 3pm kick-offs are making an unwanted bid for consideration in that category so far.
At least Kamil Grosicki hit the post for Hull here. Not much else to report though.

Southampton 0-0 Hull
"I think we're going to make it, I think we're going to save it yet."
Feeder's Buck Rodgers belts out at St Mary's as the players depart down the tunnel, providing a potentially apt message for the Hull players.
They've looked the better side here but lacking a vital goal. Don't forget - if they better Sunderland's result they'll relegate the Black Cats, who are currently also drawing 0-0 with Bournemouth.
Southampton were met with a smattering of boos on the whistle. It's not been dire from them but a little lifeless.
Southampton 0-0 Hull
The corner finds its way to Sam Clucas on the bottom right of the area but his curling shot is blocked.
Hull work it left to Kamil Grosicki but his shot from distance is easily gathered.
And that's your lot for the first half. Tepid.
