Nasty one for Toni Duggan as she's caught on the top of the foot by Nadine Prohaska, giving Jordan Nobbs a good chance to deliver.

Her free-kick is too deep though and Austria are able to head clear.

Sloppy again from England as Jade Moore gives the ball away inside her own half, Sarah Zadrazil picking it up and driving towards goal, only for her shot to drift wide.

The visitors keep the pressure on and work it right to Nadine Prohaska, who flashes her shot high and wide of Siobhan Chamberlain's goal.

A better strike and that could've been 1-1 though.

Great feet from Jordan Nobbs to leave her marker as she cuts back onto her left, flicking a cross towards Toni Duggan.

The Man City winger doesn't get there but it ricochets off Nadine Prohaska, only for Manuela Zinsberger to pull off a fantastic finger-tip save to prod the ball wide and just about away from the lurking England attackers.

Euro 2017 is the first major tournament that Austria have qualified for and look to be a well-drilled side that should prove hard to beat.

That is, until they have a bit of a wobble in defence as Virginia Kirchberger and keeper Manuela Zingsberger fail to communicate and are forced to clear in a panic.

England seem to be looking to Jordan Nobbs for that required creativity but so far the Arsenal midfielder has largely been well closed down by the Austrian defence.

After the perfect start for the hosts, things have gone a little flat in Milton Keynes.

England are controlling possession and probing, looking for ways through this well-organised Austrian defence.

They're up against two well-drilled lines of four and it'll take some creativity to get in behind and extend the lead.

While the hosts remain solid defence, they have scored just six goals in their last nine games and will be looking to improve on that at this summer's Euros.

But Austria continue to frustrate as both sides resort to a bit of head tennis in midfield.

A slightly under-hit back pass from Demi Stokes has Austria interested but Siobhan Chamberlain mops up.

Stokes makes amends moments later, beating her marker down the left to curve in a good cross. Austria deal with the first ball and just about hack it clear when Lucy Bronze floats another delivery in.

England have started to finally enjoy most of the possession in the last few minutes and are increasingly comfortable knocking around one-touch passes to try and open up the visitors.

Austria remain organised in defence though as Toni Duggan fouls Sarah Zadrazil trying to break into the area.

Nice ball down the line from Lucy Bronze that releases Ellen White on the right flank, but the Birmingham City striker resorts to pushing Viktoria Schnaderbeck to get free and is penalised.

Zinsberger is forced to tip Jordan Nobbs' whipped cross away with Izzy Christiansen lurking.

England look dangerous when they get the ball wide early on and into the area.

Austria getting to see plenty of the ball in midfield but don't yet look like troubling the defensive duo of Steph Houghton and Laura Bassett, who is easily able to repel the visitors' latest attack.

Arsenal's Jordan Nobbs has a sight of goal but her shot is well wide.
