  1. Pigs on the pitch at Coventrypublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 14 April 2017

There's a delay at the Ricoh Arena, and it probably comes as no surprise given their visitors are Charlton.

Fans of both teams have been protesting about their owners before the game.

But now kick-off has been delayed because plastic pigs have been thrown on to the pitch and must be cleared.

You may recall the previous game between the sides was also delayed because of pigs being thrown on to the pitch in October.

With 25 minutes of last night's match against Barnsley remaining Wigan were heading for an 11th home defeat of the season.

With his side 2-0 down caretaker manager Graham Barrow turned to former Manchester United man Nick Powell and the sub duly hit an 11 minute hat-trick to give the Latics a second successive win.

Wigan remain four points adrift of safety but if Powell can keep this form up they might just have a chance after all.

We have our first goal of the day and it could be a huge one.

Plymouth, who could be promoted if they win and Luton don't, have taken the lead through former Pompey man Jake Jervis.

If Plymouth beat Pompey and Luton fail to win they will be promoted today.

Luton v Leyton Orient (15:00 BST)

    Dean CoxImage source, Rex Features

May 2014 must feel like a lifetime ago to Leyton Orient fans.

The O's were 2-0 up in the League One play-off final against Rotherham and seemingly destined for the Championship.

However, former Leyton Orient striker Alex Revell scored a double and the Millers prevailed on penalties.

The following three years have been dreadful, with the Brisbane Road side going through 10 (ten) managers, served a winding-up petition and now on the verge of relegation out of the EFL.

Should they fail to win against promotion-chasing Luton today and both Hartlepool and Cheltenham record victories they will be down.

  8. League Two fixturespublished at 14:37 British Summer Time 14 April 2017

    League TwoImage source, BBC Sport

League Two's biggest game of the day has just got under way, with third-placed Portsmouth currently drawing 0-0 with second-placed Plymouth.

The Pilgrims will be promoted today if they win and Luton fail to beat relegation threatened Leyton Orient.

Orient will be sent into non-league if they lose and Hartlepool and Cheltenham both win.

There's significantly more hope for Newport, who will move out of the bottom four if they beat Yeovil and Pools lose to Carlisle.

The Exiles had looked doomed but successive wins have put them within three points of safety.

Meanwhile, the omens look good for new Grimsby boss Russell Slade as his new side take on Cambridge United.

    Coventry v Charlton (15:00 BST)

    Mark RobinsImage source, Rex Features

Coventry City will be relegated to League Two today if they fail to beat Charlton.

In reality, even if the Sky Blues win their remaining four games they will almost certainly start next season in the bottom tier for the first time since 1958-59.

Despite the club's difficult situation boss Mark Robins is in an upbeat mood.

"Relegation won't be a shock to anyone," he told BBC Coventry and Warwickshire.

"Everyone is giving me 100% but the players can improve and they are learning. We have got to keep going."

He added: "They've made significant progress in terms of winning games since I came in because we've won four from our last five.

"I'm pleased that there have been some real positives, not least the win at Wembley."

Sheffield United, promoted last week, can all-but secure the title with a win at struggling Port Vale.

Third-placed Fleetwood need a win at Peterborough to boost their flagging automatic promotion hopes, while fourth-placed Bradford will be looking to do the same when they host Oxford.

At the bottom of the table Coventry will be relegated if they don't win and Chesterfield could also go down if they fail to beat play-off chasing Southend.

Huddersfield v Preston: Huddersfield defender Chris Lowe replaces Tareiq Holmes-Dennis in the only change to the starting line-up which lost 2-0 at Nottingham Forest; Preston recall Daniel Johnson and Jordan Hugill for Callum Robinson and the suspended Alex Baptiste.

Norwich v Fulham: Norwich are unchanged from the team which thrashed Reading 7-1 in their last game; Fulham make one change from the side which beat Ipswich, as Tim Ream comes in for Michael Madl at the back.

Brentford v Derby: The Bees make just one change from the 2-1 loss at Cardiff, Nico Yennaris replaces Konstantin Kerschbaumer; Derby are unchanged with former Northern Ireland midfielder Chris Baird set to make his 50th appearance in a Rams shirt.

Bristol City v QPR: Bristol City boss Lee Johnson has unsurprisingly named an unchanged XI following the 3-1 win over Wolves - Tammy Abraham, who scored twice in that game, starts up front with Matty Taylor; QPR make several changes from last Friday's defeat against Brighton, with former Bristol City winger Luke Freeman starting against his old side.

  15. Elsewhere in the Championshippublished at 14:21 British Summer Time 14 April 2017

    Gianfranco ZolaImage source, Rex Features

You can understand Birmingham City boss Gianfranco Zola feeling pensive.

The Italian's reign at St Andrews has been a total disaster so far, with the side having won just two of his 22 games in charge to see them slump from seventh to 18th in the table.

Earlier this week he received the backing of the board but defeat at already-relegated Rotherham, who have lost their last 10, could spell the end for Zola.

Norwich City will be looking to build on their 7-1 demolition of Reading when they host seventh-placed Fulham, Derby visit Brentford knowing their slim play-off hopes could be virtually over if they fail to win and struggling Bristol City will be targeting a second successive win when they take on QPR.

And all of that's before our later and late games with Brighton visiting Wolves at 17:00 BST and Newcastle v Leeds and Burton v Ipswich at 19:45 BST.

  16. Where's my motivation?published at 14:16 British Summer Time 14 April 2017

Sheff Wed v Cardiff (15:00 BST)

    Neil WarnockImage source, Rex Features

It's fair to say Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock is not a man to mince his words.

"It's very difficult for me to get myself up for it when I know we're safe. I need an edge on my game as well," he said after last week's win over Brentford.

The Bluebirds boss has steered the club from a precarious position to safety with something to spare but now faces closing out the season with nothing to play for in their last five games.

However, Warnock will probably not need too much motivation for today's game.

The veteran boss spent seven years in charge of the Owls' city rivals Sheffield United and is a Blades fan.

With the Bramall Lane side promoted to the Championship already he'll be doing his all to make sure Wednesday's own promotion hopes hit a bump in the road today.

  17. Rovers on red alertpublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 14 April 2017

Nottingham Forest v Blackburn (15:00 BST)

    Tony MowbrayImage source, Rex Features

It's 18 years since these two met in the top-flight of English football.

A dead rubber at the end of a season that saw both of them relegated to the second tier ended 2-1 to Forest.

The Reds are yet to return to the Premier League since and spent three seasons in League One.

Rovers, Premier League title winners in 1995, could find themselves headed that way too if they fail to register a win today.

Tony Mowbray's side have failed to win any of their last seven matches and start today's games four points adrift of safety with five to play.

  18. Terriers closing in on play-offspublished at 14:07 British Summer Time 14 April 2017

    Huddersfield v Preston (15:00 BST)

    David WagnerImage source, Rex Features

Huddersfield stand on the verge of a mini piece of history.

Three wins from their remaining six games will guarantee them a place in the Championship play-offs for the first time ever.

The Terriers have lost three of their last four games to see automatic promotion hopes all but disappear but David Wagner's side could yet secure a first ever promotion to the Premier League.

Standing in their way on today are Preston, whose own hopes of finishing in the top six seem distant.

However, with former Town boss Simon Grayson in the dugout they won't give Huddersfield an easy ride.

    Carlos CarvalhalImage source, rex

    No pressure then.
