De Roon stabs in!published at 19:54 British Summer Time 26 April 2017

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Sunderland

Even the Middlesbrough players look shocked! Middlesbrough had been dreadful in the opening few minutes, penned back by Sunderland and looking very shaky indeed.

But one pass through is all it takes to carve Sunderland apart, Marten de Roon takes a touch and then stabs through the legs of Jordan Pickford.

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester

I know the official attendance is always around 60,000 at Arsenal but there are loads and loads of empty seats.

Those in attendance almost see a goal as Jamie Vardy slams a shot into the side-netting after good work from Marc Albrighton.

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Sunderland

It has been a very decent start from Sunderland, who are doing all of the attacking. Billy Jones sees a dangerous cross squirt through the penalty area before Darron Gibson shoots well wide from 25 yards.

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Sunderland

Sunderland force two early corners as their travelling support make plenty of noise. Jason Denayer is close to reaching the second one on the volley but Adam Forshaw hacks it away.

Johnny Magrinho: I don't understand why Van Aanholt is such a peripheral figure.. Palace played recently - they'll need fresh legs against Spurs!

Matthew Lambert: With the exception of Davies, and with apologies to Son, that is Spurs' strongest line-up.

  18. Big week for Spurs/Chelseapublished at 19:34 British Summer Time 26 April 2017

Crystal Palace v Tottenham (20:00 BST)

When Dele Alli put Spurs on level terms with Chelsea at Wembley last weekend, you may have made them not only favourites to reach the FA Cup final but to overhaul the Blues and win the league as well.

But, two bangers from Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic later, Spurs were out of the cup and left to watch Antonio Conte's side emphatically sweep aside Southampton last night.

The gap is back up to seven points. Does anything other than a Tottenham win tonight make the title race a procession?

  20. Spurs above Arsenal?published at 19:31 British Summer Time 26 April 2017

I'm glad you raised that Sam, as we could yet see Spurs finish above Arsenal in the league for the first time in 22 years.

Here's a breakdown of what tonight's results, and then Sunday's meeting of the two sides, will mean:

IF ARSENAL AND SPURS BOTH WIN TONIGHT (OR BOTH DRAW, OR BOTH LOSE)

Spurs will finish above Arsenal if they win the derby.

IF ARSENAL LOSE AND SPURS WIN

Spurs will finish above Arsenal if they win the derby or if it’s a draw.

IF ARSENAL LOSE AND SPURS DRAW

Spurs will finish above Arsenal if they win the derby. If it’s a draw, Arsenal would be 15 points behind with five games left, and needing a goal difference swing in the region of 25 over those five games.

Even winning the derby can’t guarantee Spurs finishing above Arsenal yet.
