  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Wigan 0-0 Cardiff

Plenty of possession for Wigan, plenty of effort. No goals.

Cardiff have kept them at bay, thanks to some smart saves by Ben Amos.

How long can they keep holding the Latics out? They are desperate.

  2. goal

GOAL - Crewe 3-0 Leyton Orientpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    George Cooper

Leyton Orient are going out of the EFL without too much of a fight.

George Cooper scores a lovely third goal for Crewe, cutting inside and finding the back of the net from outside the box.

It's a sad day for the Orient fans, who have endured an awful season this year.

  3. goal

GOAL - Huddersfield 1-4 Fulhampublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Stefan Johansen

Jonathan Hogg's error is ruthlessly pounced upon by Norwegian forward Stefan Johansen and he just slots the ball past a stricken Danny Ward.

Tough afternoon for the Liverpool loanee, four times he's plucked the ball out of the net.

When Huddersfield scored the first EFL goal of the day today, you'd not have bet on them losing 4-1 on the cusp of half-time. Fulham are flying. Four wins on the bounce, four goals?

  4. Postpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Wigan 0-0 Cardiff

Reece Burke and Craig Morgan have had further chances for Wigan, although neither found the target.

They need to take a chance, because you can see the sucker-punch coming.

Cardiff haven't had a single shot yet. Bit like a training exercise at the moment. Attack versus defence.

    Wolves 0-0 Blackburn

Oh dear, Jacqui Oatley who is at Molineux reporting for Final Score has just described the game as "one of the worst you will ever see".

Blackburn need a goal from somewhere with Nottingham Forest winning.

  6. goal

    Bad news for Bristol City.

George Moncur's shot seems to take a big deflection off Alex Mowatt, but either way it's in the back of the net.

Lee Johnson's men are still in the thick of the relegation picture as things stand.

Where to start with the rest of the action in League Two?

Luton and Doncaster have fought back from a goal down against Notts County and Wycombe respectively to level at 1-1, while Carlisle have pulled a goal back at Crawley after falling two goals behind.

Portsmouth are celebrating their promotion as they lead 1-0 over play-off chasing Cambridge, while Blackpool are two goals to the good over Cheltenham as they try to secure a spot in the top seven.

  8. goal

Huddersfield 1-3 Fulhampublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Stefan Johansen

Not just dominating possession, Fulham are dominating on the scoreboard.

Ryan Sessegnon's shot is blocked and it pings out to Stefan Johansen who just nails a low drive into the corner.

Three goals without reply after going a goal down. Stunning. Town are shellshocked.

    Huddersfield 1-2 Fulham

Huddersfield made a flying start to this game but since Fulham equalised they've dominated. They've quietened the crowd a little too.

Phillip Billing was booked for a fierce challenge on Kevin McDonald, who got back to his feet eventually.

Floyd Ayite snapped a volley at Danny Ward in the Town goal, while Tom Cairney lined up a shot from distance but it fizzed wide of the upright.

  10. goal

GOAL - Crewe 2-0 Leyton Orientpublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Ryan Wintle

Crewe's Ryan Wintle leaps highest to meet a corner at the back post and his header is adjudged to have crossed the line.

Leyton Orient are surely heading to the National League now.

  11. goal

GOAL - Nottingham Forest 1-0 Readingpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Britt Assombalonga

Big, big goal in the Championship.

Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga is slipped through by Ben Brereton and coolly slots the ball in.

It's bad news for Wigan as well, who are going down if Forest win and they don't.

    League One latest

No breakthrough so far for Bolton as they try to secure their promotion to the Championship, as Port Vale are proving rather tricky to break down.

Neither side has been able to test the opposing keeper in first 25 minutes or so.

Things are going a little more smoothly for Rochdale in the early stages, as Callum Camps' goal has put them 1-0 up at Oldham, and level on points with Southend and Millwall in the battle for the final play-off place as it stands.

  13. Championship latestpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

Bristol City v BarnsleyImage source, Rex Features

It's still goalless in the games involving relegation-threatened teams.

Nottingham Forest are on top against Reading with Mustapha Carayol and Ben Brereton both having chances for the hosts.

It's not a great game at Molineux. Darragh Lenihan has nodded the best chance just wide for Blackburn.

There haven't been any clear-cut chances at Ashton Gate either, where a win for Bristol City against Barnsley could seal their safety.

  14. goal

GOAL - Crewe 1-0 Leyton Orientpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Callum Ainley

Is Leyton Orient's 112-year stay in the Football League coming to an end?

It certainly looks that way, as Callum Ainley has turned in from close range to put the O's in real danger of going down this afternoon.

  15. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Burton 0-0 Leeds

Leeds fans might be hoping that goal at Huddersfield might filter through to their players at the Pirelli Stadium, to give them a prod.

It's not quite livened up the same way as it has at Huddersfield put it that way.

In fact, Burton have had a bit of a purple patch the past 10 minutes... flurry of corners but no goal to show for it.

  16. goal

GOAL - Huddersfield 1-2 Fulhampublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Tom Cairney

Fulham have turned this game on its head! Floyd Ayite was cut down after a flying run into the box and a penalty was awarded.

Tom Cairney, one of the best midfielders in the division, sends the goalkeeper Danny Ward the wrong way and now the Terriers trail. Fulham ahead!

    Wow.

  17. Postpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Wigan 0-0 Cardiff

Big appeals from the stands after Shaun McDonald tumbled in the box... no penalty for Wigan though according to referee Oliver Langford.

    Not to be swayed.

The hosts are really grafting away here, but no reward so far. Ben Amos has made a couple of decent saves for the Bluebirds.

  18. goal

GOAL - Huddersfield 1-1 Fulhampublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Scott Malone

Scott Malone goalImage source, Rex Features

Fulham have won their past three games and not even an early goal from Chris Lowe can check their momentum, as Scott Malone tucks away after Ryan Sessegnon's ball squirted to him.

Level, and that ramps up the Championship play-off race a bit once again!

    League Two latest

    Luke O'NienImage source, Rex Features

We told you how tight it is in the League Two play-off race earlier, and Wycombe are doing their best to stay in contention.

Luke O'Nien has headed in to make it 1-0 against Doncaster, a scoreline which takes Wanderers from 13th to eighth in the table as it stands.

Not such good news for fourth-placed Luton, who trail 1-0 at home to Notts County, or for fellow promotion-hopefuls Carlisle, who are also a goal down early on at Crawley.

  20. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 22 April 2017

    Burton 0-0 Leeds

Leeds will be indebted (for once) to their West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield for the goal that put Fulham behind at the John Smith's Stadium.

United need to better Fulham's result to leapfrog them in the play-offs, and they've had a couple of chances. First when Pablo Hernandez fired over the top, and then when Kyle Bartley headed in but it was chalked off for a foul on goalkeeper Stephen Bywater.

Burton need points themselves, to just blow away any lingering fears of relegation.
