A few texts coming in on 81111 disagreeing with Rashida (29-33 mins) in wanting Spurs to win, as a Chelsea fan.

Anon: Clearly Rashida is not a Chelsea fan. No Chelsea fan would want Spurs to win at this stage of the season!

Keith: As a Chelsea fan, I want Tottenham to lose. I don't care how. But I tell you what - I think that they play superb football.

Arthur (Oxford): Couldn't disagree more! Up the Hammers!

I feel like Spurs are struggling for width.

I'm not sure about Eric Dier starting in midfield and dropping back into a back three. He should stay in a back three and let Walker and Davies push higher.

West Ham are strong in those central areas.

I know he got ball first but if Lloris had been outfield player would that not have been deemed dangerous? One foot in air, studs showing.

Spurs have calmed the game down after all that mayhem, a few minutes of midfield passing comes to an end as West Ham hoof the ball clear.

Rashida: As a Chelsea fan, I'd love for Spurs to win tonight. The must-win game attitude has made it all the more exciting.

Rashida must be confident in Chelsea's players. I desperately want all my team's promotion/relegation rivals to lose towards the end of a season.

Spurs defender Toby Alderweireld has an effort from distance but it goes well wide.

Action at both ends now, this game is getting decent.

It was the right decision from Anthony Taylor. Hugo Lloris wins the ball. It looks a clumsy tackle but the fact is he wins the ball. It clearly hits his knee.

Cheikhou Kouyate had a good chance, but he casually went for a lob. He should have gone for power because Spurs had bodies on the line.

BIG chance. Mark Noble plays in Manuel Lanzini. Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris comes flying out to the edge of his box and wipes out Lanzini - but he gets a touch of the ball first.

With Lloris grounded, Cheikhou Kouyate tries to lob the ball into the net but there's a defender on the line to stop his effort.

West Ham want a red card - it was just outside the box - but no dice.

Jonathan Calleri - who I don't think gets any Pele nicknames from Hammers supporters - is a yard offside as he chases a long ball.

West Ham fans call James Collins the Ginger Pele. Are there any red-headed players not called that?

I remember Gary Doherty's days as the Ginger Pele.

Paul King: As a West Ham fan I shouldn't admit that I would love to see Spurs win the league. If we can't then....

Brian Fernandes: Noble needs to be subbed before he costs us the game!

Tottenham are starting to find the gaps now. You have to patient, bide your time and when it opens up you have got to capitalise.

Just after I mention Spurs' dynamic duo, they both come close to scoring. Harry Kane's 20-yard effort is saved by Adrian, Dele Alli's follow-up is blocked and Kane's next effort is excellently kept out by Adrian's leg.

From the corner, Adrian keeps out Eric Dier's header.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli have 38 league goals between them, the most by a Spurs pair in a Premier League season since 1994-95 when Jurgen Klinsmann and Teddy Sheringham also managed 38.

But no real chances yet for the pair, one miles-wide Kane effort aside.

Eyeball Paul: Very very harsh yellow for Walker. But the ref has missed a definite red there for Noble. It's a funny game

    West Ham 0-0 Tottenham

According to our possession graphic, Tottenham are enjoying much more of the ball than their hosts. However, the title-chasers have not spent much of the opening 15 minutes in the Hammers' third.

That's later than late. I'm not sure what Mark Noble was thinking. It is a vicious tackle. That's nothing less than a yellow card. I think he is fortunate not to get a red card.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15 mins

West Ham midfielder Mark Noble chops down Eric Dier with a two-footed challenge. This is a more routine yellow card.
