Bournemouth are doing their utmost to grab an equaliser before the break. However, the final ball has been lacking today, so far.

At least their 21-year-old striker Lys Mousset has got on the scoreshee... ahhh..

French striker's OG gives Stoke the leadpublished at 36 mins

    Bournemouth 0-1 Stoke

It was coming, to be fair.

Stoke had twice gone close moments earlier, and from a corner it was third time lucky.

Xherdan Shaqiri's set-piece from the left is swung in. Lys Mousset, making his first league start for the Cherries this season, heads in under pressure from Geoff Cameron.

Keeper Artur Boruc had little chance.

OUCH AND YELLOW CARD!published at 27 mins

    Bournemouth 0-0 Stoke

Harry Arter loves a challenge - he goes in two footed on Stoke's Joe Allen.

The ref Is Paul Tierney... the card is... yellow.

    That's Arter's 11th booking of the season.

Some would deem him very lucky to still be on the pitch.

So so much X-rated, as banned by the British Board of Film Classification.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Stoke

The closest we've come to a goal.

Adam Smith thunders an effort from 18 yards against the crossbar. The loose ball arrives at the feet of Cherries striker Lys Mousset, but he sends his follow-up over the bar from eight yards.

The ball did come at him at pace - in his defence.

Lys Mousset - worth giving him a mention now.

Bournemouth's French striker has just had a ball played in his direction, but it had a little bit too much on it and goes out for a throw-in.

    Anyway, that's the mention.

Cherries defender Adam Smith darts into the area and tries to cut the ball back for Joshua King, but Stoke manage to clear.

The game hasn't quite exploded, nay, spurted into life, but...

    Bournemouth 0-0 Stoke

Stoke have a sniff... well... a bit of a sniff.

Marko Arnautovic has a pop from the edge of the area but it's scuffed and easily collected by Artur Boruc. Very easily.

Joshua King, on a ridiculous goalscoring streak - 12 in 14 games, jinks past two defenders on the right of the box and plays the ball into the six-yard area.

But it's a tad bit too high and too close to Jack Butland, who collects under little pressure.
