    Burnley

    • This is already Burnley’s best Premier League season in terms of points won (39) and wins (11) and looks likely to be the first top-flight season that they haven’t been relegated since 1974-75.

Burnley's back four has been so good this season, but if that defence is ever penetrated then invariably Tom Heaton is there to make the big saves at big times in big games. That is how Burnley have ground out results this season.

Andre Gray scores goals for Burnley, and at the bottom that's the key, keeping a decent striker playing and at the club.

This could be a weekend of celebration for Burnley, for whom a victory would confirm their first-ever successful negotiation of a Premier League season.

Having already earned their greatest points tally and highest number of wins, it does seem that securing top division status is now only a formality - but there's no better feeling than achieving it in euphoric style.

West Brom reached that similar target more than a month ago but, without a point in four matches or even a goal in five, will be keen to bring those runs to an end against a side they've lost to just twice in 16 league meetings.

Burnley and England defender Michael Keane misses his first Premier League game of the season, with Kevin Long replacing him.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche otherwise sticks with the same side that won at Crystal Palace last Saturday.

Marc Wilson makes his debut for the Baggies at left-back, having joined on loan from Bournemouth in January.

He is one of four changes for West Brom, who also bring in Darren Fletcher, James McClean and 18-year-old Sam Field.

  6. Clarets nearly home...published at 14:30

Burnley v West Brom (15:00 BST)

Burnley boss Sean Dyche must surely feel his side are safe, but the Clarets will be taking nothing for granted until that is mathematically certain.

A win at Turf Moor would guarantee their Premier League future for another season and could even lift them into the top half of the table if other games go their way.

West Brom have long been safe from relegation, but are stuttering their way towards a top-eight finish having failed to score in their past five league matches.
