  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:22 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Burnley 1-0 West Brom

We've had a new pound coin and triggered Brexit since West Brom last scored a goal, and there has been precious little sign of a goal from the men in black yet since they went behind.

But wait - they've hit the bar! A corner causes chaos and it's pushed on to the bar...

  2. Stanislas strikes for the Cherriespublished at 16:22 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Bournemouth 1-1 Stoke

Barcelona-esque from Bournemouth as they equalise. Adam Smith crosses low from the right and Joshua King lets it run through his legs to Junior Stanislas, who stabs in.

Fine team goal and Bournemouth are edging closer to cementing Premier League football next season.

  4. CLOSE!published at 16:19 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Bournemouth 0-1 Stoke

Should be 2-0 to Stoke. Joe Allen puts it on a plate for Marko Arnautovic but he somehow heads over from mere yards out. Poor.

    Hull City 0-0 Sunderland

The Tigers have their tails up. Roared on by an expectant home crowd they are pushing for a goal.

Unbelievably, Hull are the only side that, so far, has failed to score against Sunderland this season.

    Bournemouth 0-1 Stoke

We're not exactly swimming in action as the Vitality Stadium.

Xherdan Shaqiri has gone closest in the second half with a shot that was deflected wide.

We've got a game now! It's end-to-end, and that's just what Hull need because they are chasing a goal. Of course, that in itself could create openings for Sunderland. Things are boiling up nicely...

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:16 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Hull City 0-0 Sunderland

    Jordan Pickford, take a bow!

What a save (how many times have we said that this season?) as he somehow palms over Lazar Markovic's point-blank header.

You can't help but feel that Sunderland's relegation would have been confirmed weeks ago if not for Pickford.

  9. goal

Mahrez stabs homepublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Leicester 2-0 Watford

For the second time this afternoon Leicester punish some poor individual play in the Watford defence. This time it's Adrian Mariappa who takes a poor touch when trying to clear his lines, Riyad Mahrez takes it from him in the left-back position and drives into the area.

Sebastian Prodl comes across to make a tackle and Mahrez just about gets a shot off in time to poke it through the legs of Heurelho Gomes.

Barnes plays onpublished at 16:14 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Burnley 1-0 West Brom

Well played Ashley Barnes! He breaks into the area and goes down under a clumsy challenge from Jake Livermore.

The linesman on the far side is flagging for a penalty but Barnes plays on, gets to his feet and crosses, and Sam Vokes is there to sweep home at the near post.

    Hull 0-0 Sunderland

It was so, so simple from Sunderland for Jermain Defoe to break beyond the Hull backline. But his first touch took him away from goal and, being closed down swiftly by a centre-back, he could only prod it towards goal and it was an easy save.

But what distribution up to Defoe by Sunderland keeper Jordan Pickford...

  15. CLOSE!published at 16:09 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Hull City 0-0 Sunderland

Hull fans have their hearts in their mouths as the Tigers almost get caught out by a bit of old fashioned route one football. Jordan Pickford punts it long and Jermain Defoe breaks away from the defence but fires straight at Eldin Jakupovic.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Burnley 0-0 West Brom

Jonny Evans, who had an ankle injury in the first half, soldiered on but now comes off, with Allan Nyom on in his place. A reshuffle needed at the back by TP.

  17. Postpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Leicester 1-0 Watford

Decent from Watford now as Nordin Amrabat stands up a cross to the back post, Stefano Okaka rises high but is put under pressure and can only head it over the bar. He takes a thwack to the head too for his troubles.

  18. Postpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Bournemouth 0-1 Stoke

Bournemouth's passing is neat and tidy but the Cherries run out of ideas in the final third. At the moment, they are struggling to find that ball to break through a disciplined Stoke defence.

    Leicester 1-0 Watford

Vintage stuff from Leicester - Shinji Okazaki in the hole and playing it round the corner for Jamie Vardy to run on to, great pace as per usual, but his left-footed shot is well saved by a sprawling Heurelho Gomes.

Marco Silva is that frustrated by the lack of goals he has decided to take matters into his own hands...

A bit of early drama at the start of the second half as Hull fans shout for a penalty as Lazar Markovic tumbles in the box. He goes down a bit too easily and the referee, unsurprisingly, isn't interested.
