    HT: Hearts 0-2 Celtic

Most of the home players are back out. How do Hearts set about this second half? If they can get the next goal it's game on again but they can't afford to leave gaps at the back or they'll get picked off by Patrick Roberts and Scott Sinclair.

That's Scott Sinclair on 20 goals for the season now... Scotland's player of the year?

The difference has been in the forward line. Hearts had them under pressure but suddenly Celtic came alive. We did say the first goal was going to be critical and it's very hard to see Celtic not winning this game now.

That first half provides a perfect example of why this Celtic side have run away with the league.

Hearts pinned them back early and got in the faces but the visitors refused to buckle or panic and, after biding their time, two ruthless moves and clinical finishes means they are 45 minutes away from a party.

  5. HALF-TIME Hearts 0-2 Celticpublished at 45+1 mins

Scott Sinclair is the Celtic hero with two goals, both assisted by Patrick Roberts.

It's harsh on Hearts, who started well, but the visitors possess a different level of threat in the final third and are well on their way to the victory they need to clinch the title.

The yellow cards are mounting up as Krystian Nowak leaves a leg in to bring down James Forrest in full flight inside the centre circle.

This is as good as I've seen Hearts in a few weeks but they haven't been able to take their chances. They're up against the champions, it's as simple as that.

    Hearts 0-2 Celtic

James Forrest goes into Kevin Clancy's book for a high boot when challenging with Krystian Nowak. I'm not sure the Hearts defender needs to roll around on the deck, since the Celtic winger touched the ball against him without any great force.

  9. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Hearts 0-2 Celtic

Celtic take a wee breather, with a few touches at the back. Hearts are not pressing with the same intensity now.

  10. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Hearts 0-2 Celtic

Hearts full-back Lennard Sowah is short with a back-pass and is relieved to see Jack Hamilton scurry to the edge of his box and clear away from the chasing Patrick Roberts.

A lot of love for two-goal Scott Sinclair out there...

    Hearts 0-2 Celtic

It's still very feisty, with Callum McGregor and Isma Goncalves both booked for a spot of daftness as the Celtic player prevents Hearts from taking a quick free kick.

Patrick Roberts sensational in the build up to the second goal. Once again Sinclair clinical. It feels like game over already and the Celtic fans have started the party.

Unbelievable play. Roberts goes round the defender as if he wasn't there. Then it's a wonderful finish. Every time Patrick Roberts plays for Celtic he has an impact.

He loves a goal against Hearts!

Patrick Roberts lights up the afternoon with a sublime touch to bamboozle Tasos Avlonitis and leave the Greek in a heap on the grass, then threads a pass through for Scott Sinclair, who runs on and gleefully thumps in another fine strike.

That's five goals in three games against Hearts for the Englishman.

It was incredible, although probably against the run of play. What a brilliant finish, a great one-two but Hearts' defending wasn't too clever.

    What a finish!

A quick give-and-go with Patrick Roberts on the left edge of the box and Scott Sinclair absolutely melts a shot high into the net past a bewildered Jack Hamilton.

    Hearts 0-0 Celtic

Scott Brown is caught dithering and Hearts win a corner. A Krystian Nowak header falls to Jamie Walker, who attempts to hook the ball in from near the front post but Craig Gordon is right on top of him to make the save.

Scott Brown has been caught about four times on the ball. We don't normally see that, but it's creating opportunities for Hearts.

    Hearts 0-0 Celtic

Two big chances at either end.

Jamie Walker slips a pass through for Isma Goncalves, racing in from the left, but Craig Gordon is out to make a good sliding block near the striker's feet.

Celtic are up in the park in a flash and Scott Sinclair finds Callum McGregor right in front of goal with a lovely lofted cross. Somehow, the midfielder feathers a volley wide from six yards. A shocking miss.
