  9. Postpublished at 81 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are putting their bodies on the line to keep hold of this point.

An unmarked Steven Davis runs onto a square ball but his shot is brilliantly blocked by the wall that is Mamadou Sakho.

Davis pounces on the follow-up but Damien Delaney gets in the way and it's out for a corner.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 79 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Cedric Soares becomes the second Palace player to go into the book for a rather cynical foul on Bakary Sako.

The Portugal right-back has no complaints.

  11. Postpublished at 77 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is proving a formidable force between the sticks once again.

The Wales international first tips Oriol Romeu's deflected strike from outside the box wide, before holding onto Maya Yoshida's header from the corner.

Around 15 minutes left for someone to find a winner.

  12. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Shane Long can't score tonight, but that's fine defending from the forward.

Palace defender Damien Delaney attacks a corner, it's heading towards goal, but Long heads away.

    Good pressure from the visitors.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 71 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Southampton midfielder Oriol Romeu goes into the book for a clumsy challenge on Wilfried Zaha.

It's the midfielder's 10th booking of the season and he'll be banned for Saints' next two games.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 66 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

How many chances does Shane Long want?

The Southampton striker latches onto a long ball over the top from Dusan Tadic - he's clean through, but his shot lacks enough power to beat Wayne Hennessey who tips it wide.

It was a fine save but he had to give the keeper no chance at all.

  15. HITS THE POSTpublished at 65 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Palace hit the post for the second time!

Martin Kelly finds some room in the box and crashes a shot against the upright.

Wilfried Zaha sends the rebound well wide.

  16. Postpublished at 62 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Just under 30 minutes to go and a draw is unlikely to help either of these sides looking at the other scores.

Hull are beating Middlesbrough and Swansea are leading Tottenham.

As things stand, Saints and Palace will be slipping closer to the relegation zone.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 58 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace make their second switch of the evening.

    Damien Delaney replaces Jeffrey Schlupp.

It appears Sam Allardyce is resorting to three at the back as he did at Stamford Bridge at the weekend.

  18. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

    It's not Shane Long's night.

Dusan Tadic plays a perfectly weighted ball through to the Southampton striker who tries to lift it over Wayne Hennessey but he gets too much on it and it goes over.

    He probably should have scored.

  19. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Goodness me, that would have been a contender for goal of the season if it had gone in!

Palace's Andros Townsend hooks the ball over his head from the centre of the penalty area and the ball lands on the roof of the net.

It took a slight deflection and a corner is given, but nothing comes of it.

  20. CLOSE!published at 50 mins

    Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

    How close is that?!

Nathan Redmond does brilliantly to control the ball on the touchline and pull it back to James Ward-Prowse on the penalty spot, but his fierce shot is blocked by Mamadou Sakho.

The ball then finds Cedric Soares who lets fly, but his effort goes inches wide.
