    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

"There is more pressure on the home side today, but there is also a lot of pressure on the visitors, with the threat of relegation looming for Dundee. These Hearts fans have been pretty patient but it is running out a bit. They are looking for a major change of fortune."

    Partick Thistle 0-0 Motherwell

In the absence of Louis Moult, Motherwell will lean heavily on the experience of Scott McDonald this afternoon.

He tries to get on the end of a cross but the Thistle defence do enough to deflect his header out.

    Inverness CT v St Johnstone

    Martin Dowden
    BBC Sport Scotland

Inverness CT simply must start picking up wins. Games are running out and if any of the sides immediately above them gain a victory today things will look bleak.

St Johnstone are riding high with a five-point gap over fifth-placed Hearts and the opportunity today to close to within three points of third-placed Rangers. Things are going rather well for Tommy Wright.

  9. Home comfort for Hamiltonpublished at 14:58 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Hamilton v Ross County (15:00)

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at New Douglas Park

Hamilton Accies have a good record against Ross County this season, having taken four points from six in the meetings so far. The hosts are also building up a decent run of home form and haven't lost at New Douglas Park since Christmas Eve.

Ross County got a vital win on Tuesday at home to Dundee and only three points separate the Staggies in eighth and the Accies in 11th.

  10. 'He's been entirely stupid'published at 14:57 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Hearts v Dundee (15:00)

Hearts head coach Ian Cathro on Sam Nicholson, who is suspended today after a spitting incident at McDiarmid Park on Wednesday.

"Sam recognises the error he's made. He's been entirely stupid and very foolish. It will be dealt with internally over the next few days. It remains a private thing."

My colleague Alison Warrender notes that Lee McCulloch's bench has a youthful look, with three of his substitutes in their teens. Sixteen-year-old Innes Cameron is still at school and joined up with the Kilmarnock team for the week as he is on his Easter holidays.

It's a 300th St Johnstone appearance for Liam Craig in Inverness this afternoon, as he retains his place from the vital 1-0 win over Hearts.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, boss Tommy Wright has made only one change to his starting line-up, with David Wotherspoon dropping to the bench, and Michael Coulson stepping in.

  17. Two changes for struggling Caley Thistlepublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

Inverness CT v St Johnstone (15:00)

After their goalless draw with Kilmarnock in midweek, Inverness boss Richie Foran has made two changes to his starting XI, as the Premiership's bottom side look to claw their way to safety.

    Morton v Hibernian (15:00 BST)

Morton manager Jim Duffy: "We've both realised it's time to focus on today's match and that's what we're going to do. I'm delighted to see us both smiling today. I would like my fans to focus on our team."

Hibs head coach Neil Lennon: "Everything will be about the players today. This is one of the toughest grounds to come to. When we came here in December, it could have gone either way. We finished stronger. Until a few weeks ago, they were unbeaten here in almost a year. It's a great league. If I get the club out of it it will be one of my finest achievements, and that includes with Celtic. It's so competitive."
