Deportivo are playing with the swagger of, well, Real Madrid. The home side confidently string together 20+ passes inside the Madrid half, the move ending with former Chelsea midfielder Gael Kakuta forcing a smart save out of Kika Casilla.

The home players have found a spring in their step, the home fans have found their voice.

Suddenly Deportivo have some belief.

Real Madrid have not much defending to do so far tonight, but Depor offer a glimmer of hope to their suffering supporters.

Osasuna's night goes from bad to worse. After being thumped 7-1 at Barca, they know their relegation to Segunda Division is about to be confirmed. That's because Leganes, who will relegate the Pamplona side with a win, are cruising at home to Las Palmas.

Even the linesman is feeling sorry for Depor. Marcelo is a gnat's length offside and the flag quickly goes up. 

Just as well for Depor. Three Madrid shirts were queuing to tap in, which Alvaro Morata did.

Madrid are only playing two of the men who started El Clasico. Maybe they should have started this side on Sunday...
