Huddersfield Town have been first to everything so far and they have totally dominated possession but, crucially, they have nothing to show for it.

Wednesday have looked off the pace at times and I wouldn't be surprised to see the visitors make a change at the break.

That corner from the right is headed clear by Steven Fletcher and that is the break at the John Smith's Stadium.

Plenty of cagey stuff in the middle third, but little to shout about in either penalty box.

Huddersfield remain solid at the back as Wednesday try and craft something before the break.

Ouch!

Chris Lowe and Steven Fletcher tangle once more as Wednesday try to come forward.

Fletcher knocks heads with the Huddersfield defender and both are down on the canvas for some treatment.

A few handbags on show as some challenges get a little feisty.

Ross Wallace goes in the book for Wednesday for going in a little too energetically on Chris Lowe moments after Steven Fletcher hit the deck in a tangle with a Huddersfield player.

Kieran Lee slips as he takes a Sheffield Wednesday free-kick but Paul Tierney has spotted a foul in the mixer by a Wednesday player.

Free-kick to the hosts and again another threatening position comes to nothing.

From one end to the other the play goes as first Wednesday try and break and can't quite find the key ball to unlock the Huddersfield defence before the hosts also counter, but Elias Kachunga strays offside as he makes space out right.

A need for a bit of composure here...

First man in the book in this tie is Tommy Smith for Huddersfield.

The Terriers' skipper goes in a bit too keen on Fernando Forestieri in a battle out wide on the Wednesday left.
