  1. CLOSE!published at 48 mins

    Manchester City 2-1 Leicester

Great chance for Leicester. Jamie Vardy is in wide open space on the wing and gets a cross to Marc Albrighton, unmarked inside the penalty area, but his shot is awfully weak. That's a big let off for the hosts.

  2. Feeling nervous, Pep?published at 13:35 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

    Manchester City 2-1 Leicester

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

Pep Guardiola admitted he was very edgy last week when his Manchester City side were only one goal ahead at half-time against Crystal Palace after a very similar first 45 minutes to the dominant performance we have just seen from them here.

City scored again at the start of the second half against the Eagles and went on to win 5-0 but Guardiola said afterwards that if it had still been 1-0 with 70 minutes played, he didn’t think City would triumph.

“I told the players at half-time, either score another goal or forget about it - we are not able to win,” Guardiola explained, having seen his side pay the price before for failing to finish off games where they appear to be in control.

You would not blame him if he was feeling the same way today, because City still have work to do to make sure of the three points.

Andy Knowles: Good half in fairness and game on with Leicester goal. Keep going the way we are and will get more goal.

Tom Geoffrey: David Silva for me will go down as one of the great Premier League players of all time. Running the show here.

Emre Can broke the internet with his stunner for Liverpool against Watford recently.

Shinji Okazaki's effort against Manchester City was equally as impressive. Goal of the Season is going to be interesting.

Three shots on target by both teams in the first half and only one goal in it, but it doesn't tell the story.

Just look at the amount of possession Manchester City have enjoyed.

Mart Frankland: Don't understand the debate whether Sterling touched the ball. Irrelevant. Intent to play ball whilst stood offside = offside.

Nii: Okazaki what a goal. What a finish. This is absolutely fantastic

  8. 'Leicester have been poor'published at 13:20 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

Manchester City have been the best team. At 2-0 you think they will go on to get three or four. When Leicester do raise their tempo they are a decent side but they have played in one gear so far. It is easy for Manchester City.

The best moment of Leicester's half was undoubtedly the goal. It has given them a bit of hope because they have been poor.

You can't take your eyes off this. Who said early kick-offs were dull? Not this one.

That is a volley par excellence! That is a candidate for goal of the month.

  12. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Controversy, a clear penalty, and a goal-of-the-season screamer...this is a cracker.

  13. 'Great goal'published at 13:15 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

    Manchester City 2-1 Leicester

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Spurs and England winger for 5 live Sport

A bit of tempo from Leicester and this is what happens. Albrighton plays a great ball and Okazaki bursts to get in the box and what a volley that is. Lovely move. Great goal.

  14. goal

GOAL - Man City 2-1 Leicesterpublished at 41 mins

    Shinji Okazaki

Stunning volley and just what Leicester needed before the interval. Shinji Okazaki's laser guided left-foot volley from 12 yards gives Willy Caballero absolutely no chance after Marc Albrighton's cross.

That's worth watching over and over again. Pure quality.

    Manchester City 2-0 Leicester

Sane is rolling on the floor, I don't know why, but it is definitely a penalty. He has really taken him out.

    Manchester City 2-0 Leicester

    Chris Waddle

That was a quality penalty. He just jogged up - nearly walked up - looked at the keeper to see where he was diving and put it in the bottom corner.

GOAL - Man City 2-0 Leicesterpublished at 35 mins

    Gabriel Jesus

Ice cool. Big moment for Gabriel Jesus as he beats Kasper Schemeichel to put Manchester City in total control.

Nightmare for Leicester. Their players are not up for this.

  18. PENALTY TO MAN CITYpublished at 34 mins

    Manchester City 1-0 Leicester

Yohan Benalouane on Leroy Sane. No controversy this time. It's a blatant foul as Benalouane recklessly sends Sane catapulting into the air.

  19. 'No contact'published at 13:04 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

    Manchester City 1-0 Leicester

    Alan Green
BBC Radio 5 live at Etihad Stadium

I don't think there was any contact from Sterling. It was close but not enough to trouble the officials. A fourth official watching the reply of that would have sorted it in no time.

  20. goal

GOAL - Man City 1-0 Leicester Citypublished at 28 mins

    David Silva

Leicester City are furious. Leroy Sane's low cross finds David Silva 18 yards out and he comfortably finds the net but Leicester's players claim Raheem Sterling, who is just about standing in an offside position, got a touch before the ball crossed the line.

Referee Robert Madley isn't having it. The goal stands and the home celebrations begin.
