  2. 'I feel responsible'published at 13:33 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

    Middlesbrough v Southampton (15:00 BST)

    Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough head coach Steve Agnew: "After the disappointment of the other night, it has been an emotional time and understandably so, and I am no different. I feel responsibility for what has happened.

"But it's not about my future, it's not about my situation, it's about Middlesbrough Football Club.

"It's about us understanding where we are, it's about how we finish strongly in these last couple of games and then we regroup, have a good summer and make sure that we're in the fight to bounce back to the Premier League as quickly as we possibly can."

  3. 'Went down with a whimper'published at 13:29 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

Middlesbrough went down with a whimper.

You cannot blame Steve Agnew, who took charge in March, for that - it was predecessor Aitor Karanka who set the tone for the season.

Karanka had this thing where it was all about not being beaten, which is all well and good if you are nicking wins while you are doing it, but Boro never really did that.

The times I saw them under him in the first half of the season, they never committed enough players forward - their three midfielders just sat in.

Agnew tried to change that but it didn't solve the other problem in their team, which is a lack of creativity. It was not addressed by Karanka in the January transfer window, and the end result is Championship football next season.

Hull play Crystal Palace on Sunday in what is already a massive six-pointer at the foot of the table.

  5. Hull can go down this weekendpublished at 13:25 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

    Sunderland v Swansea (15:00 BST)

    Hull City

Hull can be relegated this weekend.

If Swansea win at Sunderland, Hull will be relegated if they lose at Crystal Palace on Sunday.

If Swansea win and Hull draw, Hull would need a minimum six-goal swing on the final day of the season to stay up (this figure increases if Swansea win by more than one goal).

If Swansea don’t win, it goes to the final day of the season, no matter what Hull do.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:21 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

    Manchester City 2-1 Leicester

It's half time in the early game, which has been superb.

A debatable goal, a comedy penalty award and a stunning volley.

    Sunderland v Swansea (15:00 BST)

Jermain Defoe is not going to stay at Sunderland. Is he?

He can leave on a free and there will be an orderly queue of clubs ready to take him.

    Back-up for Harry Kane?

  8. 'We hope Jermain stays'published at 13:15 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

Sunderland boss David Moyes on the future of Jermain Defoe: "We hope Jermain stays. Everybody at the club wants him to stay, all the supporters want him to stay, but it has to be Jermain's decision what he does.

"Yes, there's a clause in the contract, which is hard to take, I think. I would hope that in my time, if I had been the manager, I wouldn't have allowed a clause like that to be in there.

"But it is, and obviously we have to honour the contract."

  12. Today's actionpublished at 13:04 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

Manchester City have just taken a debatable lead against Leicester - you can follow that game in full here - but here's what is still to come in the Premier League:

    Bournemouth v Burnley (15:00 BST)

    Middlesbrough v Southampton (15:00 BST)

    Sunderland v Swansea (15:00 BST)

    Stoke v Arsenal (17:30 BST)

  13. Under pressure?published at 12:58 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

    Sunderland v Swansea (15:00 BST)

Paul Clement has done a decent turn since taking over at Swansea.

Seven wins in 17 games have been enough to give themselves a real chance - but they haven't won on the road since January.

A win at already-relegated Sunderland this afternoon would lift the Swans four points clear of Hull with just two games left.

Can they rise to the challenge?
