  1. goal

GOAL - Leicester 1-1 Bournemouthpublished at 51 mins

    Jamie Vardy

A simple finish for Jamie Vardy gets Leicester right back in it. He nudges over the line from an Islam Slimani knockdown that sits up perfectly for him - just achingly out of Ryan Allsop's reach as it bounces across goal.

All Vardy had to do was toe it over the line. That's his 16th goal of the season.

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Ooh! A very decent opening for Bournemouth - Charlie Daniels bounded into space on the overlap, but his ball to the edge of the box was just behind Junior Stanislas, Leicester mop it up.

No changes to mention at the break by the way.

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Islam Slimani absolutely steams in on Steve Cook straight from kick-off, looking to nick the ball off his toe.

And again here he is tearing in on the keeper.

Leicester must have been given a right old talking to at the break.

    TWO minutes added on.

    Leicester have been building...

  7. CLOSE!published at 45 mins

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Superb sliding challenge from Charlie Daniels to clear out Riyad Mahrez from a dangerous position wide right in the box.

From the corner, Wilfred Ndidi's header is stopped by Ryan Allsop - well saved from a difficult spot under pressure.

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

They know what's working. Christian Fuchs with another long throw, but this time Wilfred Ndidi's header isn't worrying anyone in the Bournemouth back line.

  9. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Much better from Leicester now. But will they make it count for something before the break? THREE minutes to go until the whistle.

  10. CLOSE!published at 40 mins

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Another long throw from Christian Fuchs causes panic in the box, it's cleared twice but comes back each time before Yohan Benalouane swings a boot at it - deflected wide.

From the corner Islam Slimani's low header just darts wide of the far post. Chances for the home side - at last!

  11. CLOSE!published at 37 mins

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Leicester's first shot on target. Riyad Mahrez with it, poking a weak effort straight at the keeper after cutting inside into space from a deep ball to the far post.

    Easy stop for Ryan Allsop.

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

He's a lucky boy here if you ask me. Riyad Mahrez skips up the pitch, from the edge of his own box to the halfway line, trying desperately to raise what's been a really flat Leicester showing.

He runs into one Bournemouth shirt too many and is dispossessed - but the ref blows up for a home free-kick, when the Cherries might have had a chance to counter dangerously.

Oof. Let's call this agricultural. Andy King leaves a strong shoulder in as he bounces Adam Smith off the ball. Foul, calls the referee. Rightly so.

Smith needs a couple of seconds to catch his breath. The physio's on, and his supply of energy drink is raided by both sides. And the ref. Smith seems OK.

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Dan Gosling does brilliantly well to harry Riyad Mahrez and win the ball in midfield. Waspish.

He finds Ryan Fraser up the line, but the diminuitive Scotland international is muscled off it by Yohan Benalouane.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 26 mins

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

A fantastic stop from Kasper Schmeichel.

Bournemouth are camped in Leicester's penalty area but they pop it out to Dan Gosling, whose poweful driven shot is about to clip the bar and smash into the back of the net before a huge Danish paw gets in the way, saving a certain goal.

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Ah now here's a rusty touch from Ryan Allsop - making his first Premier League start for Bournemouth.

This time last year he was on loan at Wycombe. Back to 2017 and he's kicking a misplaced pass out into touch.

An invitation for the home side to get back into this? We've seen very little from Leicester so far.

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Junior Stanislas has scored for Bournemouth in three consecutive league games for the first time.

He's getting a bit carried away with this shot blazed over from 30 yards out though.

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Riyad Mahrez picks a pocket and zooms up the pitch.

He finds Jamie Vardy, who sprays it on towards Islam Slimani, but the first touch from Leicester's record signing is a poor one.

That was a decent opening for the Foxes - Bournemouth had been caught in the thick of it up the pitch.

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Lys Mousset's having a bit of a stormer here. Every touch so far's been really impressive.

It was his driving run that led to the goal, and here he is turning neatly away from pressure far on the right touchline. Plenty of pace about him too. I seem to remember him having a bit of a moan about not getting enough minutes earlier in the season. He's making a decent case today.

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Christian Fuchs bringing a Sunday flavour to the game as he winds up a booming long throw from the left.

It's cleared by a Bournemouth head, but only as far as Ben Chilwell, who blazes a chance wide on the volley.
