    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Marc Pugh has space down the left as Leicester retreat once more. Patient build-up. The home side have barely had a touch.

He plays a one-two with Lys Mousset in the box, drives a low cross across goal, but there's too much on it, out for a throw on the far side.

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

Lightning quick start to the game. I had a mouth full of apple. Happy to report it went down the right way, but was touch and go for a moment there.

Leicester were napping. And they're still yet to wake up. Bournemouth looking up for this in a big way.

    A stunning start!

Lys Mousset's driving run down the left looks to have been snuffed out, the ball falls to Ryan Fraser following in, he's cleaned out by a Leicester body, but it falls kindly back to Mousset once more.

The Frenchman's shot on goal is blocked by the legs of Kasper Schmeichel - but only straight to the incoming Junior Stanislas, who smashes home.

Either team could finish in the top half of the table, but Bournemouth might finish as high as eighth if everything falls into place, which would be a remarkable achievement in only their second season in the Premier League.

Last year's champions Leicester need to win for a top-10 finish, after salvaging their season under Craig Shakespeare.

Nonetheless, after winning the first five games following the managerial change in February, they've tailed off somewhat, culminating in Thursday's thrashing at home to Spurs.

It was the joint-heaviest defeat ever suffered by a reigning Premier League champion.

Bad timing for Shakespeare if he's hoping to impress the owners and stay in the role next season.

Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare makes two changes to the side that lost 6-1 to Tottenham on Thursday.

Andy King comes in for Daniel Amartey in midfield, while Islam Slimani replaces Shinji Okazaki up front.

Leicester XI: Schmeichel, Simpson, Benalouane, Fuchs, Chilwell, Mahrez, Ndidi, King, Albrighton, Vardy, Slimani.

Subs: Musa, Amartey, Kapustka, Okazaki, Zieler, Gray, Wasilewski.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe makes four changes to the side that beat Burnley 2-1 last weekend.

Top scorer Joshua King has an ankle injury and Harry Arter a knee problem, so Ryan Fraser and Dan Gosling come in.

Ryan Allsop makes his first Premier League start in goal, replacing Artur Boruc, and Andrew Surman takes Lewis Cook's place, with the midfielder away on England Under-20 duty.

Bournemouth XI: Allsop, Adam Smith, Francis, Steve Cook, Daniels, Fraser, Gosling, Surman, Pugh, Stanislas, Mousset.

Subs: Afobe, Ramsdale, Brad Smith, Ibe, Cargill, Surridge, Worthington.

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender on Football Focus

Bournemouth have already bettered their points tally from last season, despite having a slippery month or two at the start of 2017.

Joshua King has been brilliant since Callum Wilson was injured at the start of February and the Norwegian striker has made astonishing progress as a player since I saw him when he came on loan to Preston in 2010.

King 'proud' of 2017 goalscoring form

The Cherries are already in the top 10 and, if they can become a little bit meaner defensively, then they can continue their progress next season.

Leicester will go above them - and into the top half - with a win, however, and that is what I think will happen.

I do not understand why the Foxes have not revealed yet whether Craig Shakespeare will stay on as manager, but he deserves to keep the job because he turned their season around.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-0

    For Bournemouth, today's something of a win-win.

They are guaranteed to achieve their highest-ever finish, regardless of result.

But they could climb as high as eighth with victory, if results go their way.
