  1. goal

GOAL Aberdeen 0-2 Celtic (Armstrong)published at 8 mins

Celtic's attack is fast, frantic and frighteningly fruitful. Leigh Griffiths nutmegs his opponent down the right wing and scampers away, no doubt giggling at the cheek of it all, and slides in a pass which is knocked away only as far as Callum McGregor, whose powerful low shot is also knocked clear but only as far as Stuart Armstrong, who shapes his body to sidefoot the ball home.

  2. Celtic's goal...Taylor madepublished at 5 mins

    Aberdeen 0-1 Celtic

Ash Taylor. Dearie me, the Dons defender will be annoyed at just how easily he let the Celtic scorer drift away from him.

  3. goal

GOAL Aberdeen 0-1 Celtic (Boyata)published at 3 mins

What a start for Celtic! Leigh Griffiths swings in the corner kick from the right and big Dedryck Boyata gets away from his marker and has enough time to enjoy the views in  the north-east before smashing a header down into the turf, bouncing handsomely into the roof of the net. All too easy for the Celtic defender.

    Aberdeen 0-0 Celtic

Callum McGregor slips in a pass to Patrick Roberts whose first two touches are lovely as he sweeps into the Aberdeen box, but he then takes too heavy a touch and his subsequent shot with his right foot is from a tricky angle and Joe Lewis saves, conceding a corner.

  8. Balancing act for Mortonpublished at 19:44 British Summer Time 12 May 2017

    Dundee United v Morton (19:45)

Morton manager Jim Duffy: "You don't need to score in the first five minutes. If we don't at least have a go, we're out so we need to be as positive as we possibly can but we know we have a top-class side ahead of us, trying to make that difficult."

  9. Top two tanglepublished at 19:42 British Summer Time 12 May 2017

    Martin Dowden

Intruiging contest tonight with Aberdeen seemingly determined to give Celtic something to consider ahead of the Scottish Cup final in two weeks' time.

Jayden Stockely is in for Adam Rooney which might signal a slight change in approach from Derek McInnes.

Celtic are looking to keep this domestic unbeaten run ticking along and bring back the experience of Scott Sinclair, Mikael Lustig and goalscoring threat of Callum McGregor who has hit three in three.

Meaningless? I don't think so. Aberdeen can absolutely secure second place in the table but can attain significant belief if they can put on a show tonight.

  10. 'We are in form'published at 19:41 British Summer Time 12 May 2017

    Dundee United v Morton (19:45)

Dundee United manager Ray McKinnon: "It will be another tough game. We have played them seven times now. They are very organised, they have good players and they have a good manager, but we are at home, we are in form so I'm hoping the players can go out tonight and get the job done."

  13. United in the driving seatpublished at 19:33 British Summer Time 12 May 2017

    Dundee United v Morton (19:45)

Morton are up against it in their bid reach the Premiership. They have punched above their weight this season in the Championship under Jim Duffy, only slipping from second to fourth in the final weeks of the regular campaign. In the first leg of their play-off quarter-final they outplayed Dundee United for the first half and led 1-0 but United came storming back on Tuesday night and lead 2-1. Ray McKinnon's men must be favourites to go through to the semi-final against Falkirk.

    Aberdeen v Celtic (19:45)

Victory for Celtic this evening would send the champions over the 100-point mark for their league campaign, while Brendan Rodgers' men are also closing in on 100 Premiership goals this season - they're currently on 96.

The Dons have not kept a clean sheet in their last 55 league games against Celtic.

  20. 'Aggressive in possession'published at 19:20 British Summer Time 12 May 2017

    Aberdeen v Celtic (19:45)

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes: "I don't think we can be too different from what we are. At Hampden it will be a bigger pitch, a better pitch, so tonight will not be any relation to how the game will play out there. We have gone with a certain way to be aggressive in possession and Jayden will be a big part of that. We don't have Ryan Jack in the middle of the park, who is a controller of the game, so we might have to bypass that midfield area and get to Celtic a bit quicker. That's something we've just looked at for this game, not the cup final.

"We want to win the game. We've got to let Celtic see us, feel us, know that they are going to work extremely hard to win a cup in a couple of weeks' time. We can't stand off Celtic. We've got to make the game the type of game that we want it to be. We need to try to carry a threat. We have got to cause problems. If we can get a draw or certainly bring a performance, that will help us going into the cup final."
