Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes: "Jayden hasn't had too many opportunities. His goals-to-games started ratio is very good. It's the only area of the pitch where we could make a change, really. The priority for us is the Scottish Cup final and getting the right preparation. We are short everywhere else other than the forward area so we considered Miles Storey or Jayden and Adam (Rooney) could do his best stuff from the bench."

Pittodrie has been something of a fortress for Aberdeen this season - the Dons have only lost four matches at home in all competitions - but they've lost their past two fixtures on their own patch.

St Johnstone, then Rangers, took three points apiece from Pittodrie, without the home side scoring a goal.

  4. 'We can end the unbeaten run'published at 19:05 British Summer Time 12 May 2017

    Aberdeen v Celtic (19:45)

Aberdeen have taken no points from their three league meetings with Celtic this season, and were easily brushed aside by the champions in November's League Cup final.

Despite that poor record, midfielder Kenny McLean insists they can end Celtic's unbeaten domestic run - and derail their bid for a treble in the Scottish Cup final come 27 May.

"We want to show we can beat Celtic, because we know we've got the players that can," he said.

"I think we are the best team to stop the unbeaten run - and stop the treble."
