    Burton 0-1 Birmingham

Birmingham are suddenly looking more composed at the back. Burton's pressing was ruffling them a bit, but they withstood the pressure and now they have their noses in front.

Suddenly they are getting a grip on the midfield and Burton are having to chase.

    Burton 0-1 Birmingham

That's rocked Burton. No doubt about it.

Manager Nigel Clough has been saying his team have been conceding when on top and it's happened again.

How will a side who have lost three out of three in the league react?

That was nicely worked by Birmingham. Clayton Donaldson did brilliantly down the right flank and his far-post cross was headed back by Lukas Jutkiewicz.

Jacques Maghoma had the simple task of tapping home from three yards against his old club.

    Really unselfish work by Jutkiewicz.

Birmingham keep it simple to fashion a headed chance for Lukas Jutkiewicz but his header goes well wide from a long, looping cross.

The home pressure continues. Jackson Irvine teed up that chance for Sordell and is becoming increasingly influential.

The Australian has that little bit of extra quality in the final third and is showing it.

The best chance of the game eventually falls to Burton's Marvin Sordell, but his effort is blocked by David Stockdale's feet.

The striker took too long after being teed up by Jackson Irvine.

A Brewers free-kick is punched clear by David Stockdale. Good positive goalkeeping that. It needed to be. There were a few Albion players closing in.

Burton are looking sharp. They are winning the majority of the 50-50 contests and edging things at the moment.

A little bit of hesitation in the Blues defence and some good pressing by Burton almost sets up Matty Palmer.

But he heads well wide after smart work by Marvin Sordell and Jackson Irvine.

Very little excitement and certainly no close calls yet.

Lukas Jutkiewicz heads well over the bar for Birmingham. That's as good as it has been for the visitors.

    Burton have forced a corner...

From which Jake Buxton's header is comfortably saved. He couldn't generate much power. A good leap though.

    Burton 0-0 Birmingham

With Clayton Donaldson and Lukas Jutkiewizc up front, there might not be a great deal of subtle approach play from Harry Redknapp's Birmingham this evening.
