As for Huddersfield, they have done everything BUT score.

Rajiv van La Parra has been a threat and Steve Mounie has had plenty of chances too.

Manager David Wagner will surely be asking for more of the same from his players.

Well Southampton have not had the most convincing start to the Premier League season but they have defended with resilience so far and everything Huddersfield have thrown at them, they have kept out.

Will they provide more of a threat in the second half?

Huddersfield had eight shots on goal in that half but they just couldn't find the back of the net.

Steve Mounie is looking for his third goal is as many league games - and he almost has it.

He beats Jack Stephens in the box following a cross from the right-hand side but his shot is miscued and dribbles just wide of Fraser Forster's right post.

Manolo Gabbiadini has had just three touches in this game so far. The Southampton striker hasn't had much service...

Jonas Lossl releases Elias Kachunga on the right wing with a terrific throw, after collecting Southampton's corner kick.

The winger drives forward with pace and plays in Rajiv van la Parra but the Huddersfield midfielder just can't convert it.

Rajiv van la Parra has made a great start to this game - and he's just put in a very dangerous ball which Elias Kachunga managed to get on the end of.

Fraser Forster was in the right place, though, and he made the save. The ball was still not cleared properly and Steve Mounie came in with an unsuccessful follow-up.

Huddersfield have a chance of their own, but Mathias Jorgensen's header is an easy save for Fraser Forster.

There hasn't been too much between the two sides so far.

Nathan Redmond almost opens the scoring for Southampton. He finds space on the left but drags his shot wide and that is a huge let-off for Huddersfield.

The Saints should be 1-0 up here...

All the action is in Southampton's half at the moment but Huddersfield haven't really caused any problems.
