    Swansea 0-0 Watford

Worth noting early doors that Swansea have failed to register a shot on target in three of their five Premier League matches this season.

Before this weekend, they have only attempted 30 shots in the top flight this season, four fewer than Tottenham's Harry Kane.

They play it around nicely at the back before Watford intercept. Andre Carrillo tries to hook it into the box before it's cleared.

Now Watford, decked out in red, enjoy a spell in possession.

Paul Clement was rightly pleased with his players for keeping Spurs at bay last weekend, but he's understandably less satisfied with them offensively, after Swansea failed to manage a shot on target for the third time in five league games this season.

He has a welcome selection dilemma up front for this one, with Wilfried Bony pushing for a start following his efforts in midweek.

Marco Silva is hopeful something positive will come out of Watford's mauling against Manchester City, calling it "a good match for them to learn from", and that game aside they've made an impressive start, especially away from home.

Silva also has a striker itching to make the team and has told captain Troy Deeney he needs to "work hard" in order to regain his place.

The players are on their way out of the tunnel at the Liberty Stadium as kick-off approaches.

It looks like half-decent weather in Wales today. I'll lambast any player seen wearing gloves.

Swansea's home form has been not been great so far - they have lost both their league matches at the Liberty Stadium - but that is something they can put right this weekend.

Watford made an excellent start to the season but they are what I would call a 10-game team, because it is going to take that long to work out what they are about and how good they actually are.

    Prediction: 2-1

These are early days in this Premier League season, though there is a sense that Swansea City have something of a point to prove.

Despite keeping a clean sheet in each of their three away games, the Swans have yet to score in two home fixtures and have just two from their five matches in total.

Head coach Paul Clement has called for an improvement in attack and, in an attempt to freshen up his frontline, he has handed Wilfried Bony a first league start since his transfer deadline day return from Manchester City.

Watford, meanwhile, have made an impressive start to life under Marco Silva, winning two and drawing two of their Premier League games before last weekend’s 6-0 thrashing against Manchester City.

The Hornets’ last win at Swansea City in a league competition came back in February 1983 when the visitors won 3-1 thanks to goals from Luther Blissett and John Barnes.

You know it's a good day when this pair get a mention.

The last four Premier League meetings between Swansea and Watford have produced just three goals.

The Swans have beaten the Hornets once in their past five league meetings - coming away with two draws and two defeats.

Watford were 1-0 winners in their last meeting in April, with Etienne Capoue scoring the winner.

Wilfried Bony stares out from the front of the Swansea programme today and he is set to earn a first Premier League start since his return to the club from Manchester City this summer.

Bony 1.0 scored 25 goals for Swansea in the 2013-14 season and Paul Clement needs that player back with Swansea having failed to score in four of their five Premier League games so far this season.

Watford come here off the back of their 6-0 mauling at the hands of Manchester City last weekend but they were very impressive when I saw them win 2-0 at Southampton and I wouldn't expect any sort of hangover today because they'll know that City are going to do that sort of thing to quite a few teams this season.

Swansea make six changes from their midweek win over Reading in the Carabao Cup.

Wilfried Bony retains his place to make his first Premier League start since rejoining the club, while Jordan Ayew and Federico Fernandez are among those returning to the starting XI. Bayern Munich loanee Renato Sanches has to settle for a place on the bench.

Watford make two changes from their 6-0 defeat by Manchester City. Kiko Femenia is back after concussion and replaces Daryl Janmaat in defence while Etienne Capoue comes in for Nathaniel Chalobah, who misses out with a knee injury.

Watford could have gone top of the Premier League last week.

But instead they ended up on the wrong end of a 6-0 drubbing by Manchester City.

Can they recover against a Swansea side who snatched a point from Spurs last time out?

It's almost time to find out...
