An example of why Renato Sanches remains a work in progress. Swansea win a free-kick about 30 yards goal from goal. The Portuguese youngster lines the dead ball only to fire it high and wide of the goal. West Ham fans laugh and jeer. Sanches shakes his head, looks to the sky and crosses himself. A bit of divine intervention might be the only way either side will score this afternoon.
