Swansea boss Paul Clement isn't shying away from the importance of this game and actually says he welcomes the pressure now rather than it getting really cranked up at the end of the season like it did six months ago.

"We need to look at every game as though we are fighting for our footballing lives. We have got to put that pressure on ourselves now so we can get good performances and good results to ensure we are not in those really high-pressure situations at the end of the season."

Swansea have pretty much been on an upward trajectory since Roberto Martinez took them to the League One title back in 2008 but their seventh season in the top-flight has been hard going so far with three defeats in their three Premier League games at the Liberty Stadium.

Although by definition today's game isn't a "must win" you do feel there is a lot of pressure on Swansea to get the victory against a Huddersfield team that haven't won in their past six games in all competitions.

Swansea supporters have been crying out for width for weeks and Paul Clement has finally answered their prayers by selecting Luciano Narsingh for a first start this term. He is expected to line up on one flank with Jordan Ayew on the other as Swansea seek a first home win of the campaign.

Worth noting that a win today would move Huddersfield into the top half of the table.

They have plateaued somewhat since the start of the season with two defeats and three draws in their past five games.

We've seen it many times before - promoted sides can have fantastic starts, because of momentum form the previous season plus the surge of excitement at playing at big stadiums.

But Huddersfield are realistic - they want to finish the season one spot above the relegation zone. And at the moment they are on track to survive.

This is what a goal celebration looks like...

These are worrying times for Swansea, who only have one more point than they did at this stage last year when Bob Bradley was about to take charge of his first match.

Seven players have started each league match so far under Paul Clement, but the consistency of selection hasn't been matched by the results, unless you count the part which reads Swansea nil.

Eight players have begun every game of Huddersfield's first season in the Premier League, but they too need a victory after taking just three points from their past five matches.

A low-scoring draw might be a logical prediction with both struggling to find goals, but when has logic played any part?

Paul Clement makes two enforced changes to his Swansea side that lost 1-0 to West Ham United at the end of September.

With Wilfried Bony and Renato Sanches out injured, Clement turns to Leroy Fer and Luciano Narsingh.

Two changes also for Huddersfield, as David Wagner brings in Philip Billing and Scott Malone for Chris Lowe and Aaron Mooy.

Mooy played for Australia against Syria in a World Cup play-off in Sydney on Tuesday, four days after playing in the first leg in Malaysia.

Paul Clement said this week that it is too early to talk about a relegation battle.

But with one win in seven and sitting 18th in the league, this season seems eerily similar to last year.

Huddersfield are the visitors to the Liberty Stadium today.

Too soon to talk about a must win game?

First up some team news and it's not good reading for Swans fans.
