    Bournemouth 2-0 Huddersfield

Hope for Huddersfield on the stroke of half time as Simon Francis flies in late on Rajiv van la Parra. He's already on a yellow... and he's off.

    Oumar Niasse (45 mins)

Ahem, just ignore what I said a couple of entries ago...

The Toffees are level but only thanks to howler in the Crystal Palace defence. Scott Dann dithers in possession and Idrissa Gueye pounces, pinching the ball before feeding Gylfi Sigurdsson, who in turn finds Oumar Niasse, and the forward strokes home.

    All square.

    Gabriel Jesus (45 mins)

Teamwork makes the dream work. Brilliant goal.

All pass and move as Raheem Sterling sends in David Silva, clean through but he instead rolls it square for Gabriel Jesus to tap in. Horrible time to concede.

  10. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Everton

The hosts want a penalty as Wilfried Zaha appears to be pushed to the ground. Nothing given.

Everton will welcome the arrival of half time. Since equalising they have not been in this.

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

David Silva blazes over the bar before Vincent Kompany and Eliaquim Mangala both go close to turning home a free-kick. City on top but Leicester are a real threat on the break too.

  12. Postpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Bournemouth 2-0 Huddersfield

Almost 3-0 as Jonas Lossl pushes over Andrew Surman's drive.

Huddersfield getting a real taste of what life is like in the Premier League. They were well on top for the first 15 minutes and had the better chances, but two well-worked set pieces have them 2-0 down and lucky not to be even further behind.

  13. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 2-0 Southamptonpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Mohamed Salah (41 mins)

All about the pass. WHAT a ball from Philippe Coutinho, outside of the right boot, pushed through the lines and Mohamed Salah is too quick for the Saints, he gets there ahead of Fraser Forster and just helps it home with a shove of the left boot.

    Ashley Barnes (40 mins)

    Another great goal!

So good it came straight back out of the net and out to the edge of the area! Ashley Barnes gets the ball 25 yards from goal, takes a touch and it sits up nicely to be hit and he obliges. Full force, crisp as you like and whistles into the net.

Surely there isn't a man, woman or child alive who doesn't know who John Wark is?!

The game's gone. Three words: Escape.To. Victory.

  16. goal

    Marcos Alonso (39 mins)

    Scrap what I said below...

Ahmed Hegazi gives away a free-kick on the left side of the Baggies box. Cesc Fabregas lifts it towards the far post for Marcos Alonso, who sidefoots into the back of the net.

    Alonso was totally unmarked. Basics.

  17. Wark to Corkpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Burnley 1-0 Swansea

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

Jack Cork's late arrival in the box is reminiscent of John Wark or Bryan Robson. He started the move then broke his neck to get to where it mattered. And it was a great finish.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    West Brom 0-2 Chelsea

It's a big ask for the Baggies to get anything out of this game but there's almost a glimmer of hope as Ahmed Hegazi heads wide.

  19. Postpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

Burnley are a point behind Tottenham as it stands.

    Quite something.
